Icejade with Umi support for the Synchro. Ancient Warriors for Link primarily because I wanted to show off the royal Cao De I had pulled. And Amazoness because it was the Fusion Deck I was most confident with. And, it just so happens that its basic setup cooks most Tenpai plays. Especially the plays made by the people playing it because they were informed it was the best deck without ever reading the cards.
0:46 i ran into a bunch of ragnaraika decks, and 1 evil eye, also a few scareclaws. I used a purelink version of my Slifer Fur Hire deck though. for Fusions i did a semi-budget ancient gears(didnt have a lot of URs, also it was just a not made as effectively as it could have but it worked) for synchros, i really didnt have much to use i had what was left of my Thunder dragonchaos Synchro deck(mostly level 10 synchros, Barrone, Chaos Angel, Ghoti of the deep, the Supreme and Sinister soviergns etc) and i kinda tunneled vision my way into making a Chaos Bystial Deck. tried my damnest to not make it to reliant on its ritual component but that didnt happen(i like dogmatika white relic too much, plus sniping extra deck is a guilty pleasure of mine.) it was most certainly the worst out of the three but i made it work (even though i lacked the URs to get Lubellion and Magnamhut). also tried to put in my 2 Stardust Dragons (1 alt art and the other a guarenteed Royal Finish)and coupled it with to starlight roads, didnt get 2 much use out of them unfortunately. on another note i decided to record me getting the gems for this event.....i got like 4hrs worth of footage...yikes
I was playing E heroes. I did not find e heroes to be at a disadvantage in this event due to Spirit of Neos and Divine Wind. These two cards were pretty good at countering Tenpai, so it became more of a problem when facing up against Centurion. Luckily, this was pretty rare. Everyone was basically just playing Tenpai.

Dude what are smoking? xD played in the Lab event back wen Lab was new,it was no fun! Yes tenpai is the newest deck, but we got 2 fusion decks supports before this and link support was before that
While better than some previous events, Konami made this event especially miserable at times by pushing Tenpai so hard. I seriously hated seeing that deck, and we really didn't need more of it since it's now tier 1 in MD, and it'll be flooding rank. If they had clamped down on the deck more for the event it would've been less annoying.

Scareclaw kicked ass for me in this event wasn't hard to make for me as I already use it easy dubs ten pia don't do shit once I set up tried running other decks
This event was basically Centurion/Tempai vs the world. Personally, I played Fluffals and Lunalights for fusion, Ghoti for Synchro, Vendreads and Evil Eye for links. Not the loaner Evil Eye, mind you, but my own build. Funniest interaction is that Zombie World shuts down Tempai if they can't out it immediately. All of their effects specify "Fire, Dragon" and just stall once they become zombies. I am disappointed that I can't really play Windwitch during this event, because all of the cards that make pure Windwitch good (Secret Village, Gadarla, Ring of Destruction) keep getting forbidden.
Synchro group is totally OP in this event. As a pendulum player, only link group is easier for me to play either going first or second. Fusion group is the worst and too slow for me where going first , I can't do much while going 2nd , i need to go against multiple negates. I don't play synchro group much as it literally no fun
Not banning Sangen Summoning in a low power format was certainly the choice of all time. Also I was playing Vanquish Soul for the Link team when I wasn't playing Swordsoul to duck Tenpai MU's. I didn't play for the Fusion Team at all. The titles didn't mean much to me; I just wanted to farm some gems with 2 of my favorite decks in the game lol.
Link I've been playing Codetalker more or less archetype pure and it's not been that bad. For the synchro I actually went a bit scummy because I knew it would be all tenpai, and built a quick down and dirty burn/stun thing for that. Fusion I played a pure gambling dice deck just to be silly.
@@VantaJay well since prank kids uses links and fusions playing it in link only is kinda like playing snake eyes at home, you have 1 card ends on amblowhale turn one and you can do the raging Phoenix and zealantis otk on turn 2
@@HowdyItsMarc I had a buddy 1-Trick Pranks as well. I know it's 'probably' fine for the power level of the event because Bow-wow and Doodle-doo are crazy cards, but it sounds like a very "Win Smarter, but also harder" type situation in my head lol.
I played plant pile as my only deck for the event as its the only deck ik that can still make a unbreakable board playing threw multiple handtraps an end on freaking naturia bamboo floodgating tenpai from the game Btw yes i faced only synchros this event hasnt seen a single fusion deck but 99% tenpai other beung centurion
I havent seen very many tenpai from the synchro team, the fusion team on the other hand haveing shadolls as a loaner with more than one winda. Now that is disgusting. You dont need more than one winda especially on the field
I used generic links as well as pendulum support links and ran Endymion mythical beast, had a lot of fun and made it pretty far, then ran predaplant bystial DPE for the last 4 levels
Folks I’m not gonna lie, I’ve got 3 accounts. One of them I played PEP turbo and that went great, I played crusadia on another and that went not as good. I am 9 and 27 with sword soul on the third one. PEP turbo was a gimmick deck and I lost like 5 games and I can’t win with sword soul to save my life, is doesn’t help that I am playing against tenpai despite being in the synchro even. Wish me luck on the other 10+ wins I need.
Lmao same I also played on 3 accounts. One I played Yosenjus another Red dragon Archfiend and last one Centur-ion Although.....how are you playing against Tenpai when you're playing a synchro deck? You can't go up against an opponent with the same summoning mechanic as you in the event.
I ran my Altergeist deck, representing the link players. Secret Village of the Spellcasters is banned (rightfully) in this event, so i subbed for Threatening Roar. I actually beat Ancient Gear and Tenpai with a C-Tier deck 😂
I played Cyberse otk for Link, Tenpai for Synchro, & the fusion loaners since I didn't have a fusion deck, which made it the worst of the 3. Also when I saw the banlist I immediately thought you got your 3rd Mali now, that's cool
