Great analysis. I was NOT a fan of the AMM AJ3 R.b.W 2021 release. Honestly I viewed it as "Meh". I thought removing the elephant print, that mauve (Violet-Ore) color and artificially-aged midsole muted Tinker's vision. However my perspective has shifted. The AJ3 is my favorite silhouette, and release(s) such as the "Desert Elephant" & "Craft Ivory" caused me to re-think my view. Copped the AMM AJ3 W.Y.W.S on Exclusive Access and look forward to seeing them in the collection. Keep up the great content.
Got 2 pair of these black 3s, won 1 pair on the eql raffle, I’m late to white pair of 3s, I just bought them too from stockx. I also just bought the AMM dawn and dusk 5s. AMM brand gives just grown man vibes in sneakers, which I like.
While I am late to the party, I agree w/ your grown man vibe statement. I did NOT share the same enthusiasm for the AMM collabs as many have expressed. However I am 40+ and my perspective is shifting. I thought their design choices muted Tinker's vision. Not anymore. Copped the A Ma Maniere AJ3 W.Y.W.S on SNKRS EA. I agree but I don’t like how they didn’t finish the edges..like in the tongue and the collar… If you look at the white ones they sewed them up nice but in the black ones they went with that raw edge like how OFFWHITE DOES.. like it’s been deconstructed or some shit… smh…..over time that shit will fray and split… but besides that yea they are better .. the same way it’s black cements over white cements all day.
