even as in her younger years, 1:29 you could see how waackxxy has superior hip-leg footwork, im glad she utilizes and mastered it with her recent battles.
It's refreshing to see her move like a human. Today she is god level like you don't find any flaws in her move even when it's technically difficult. Her isolation and core strength today is unmatched, not to mention she incorporates many styles appropriately 😨
Both were good, but Ibuki was more swift with it. Waackxxxy had lots of big moves and killing beats, but she lacked a bit of the swiftness you would love in waacking.
Waacking was never about "swiftness". Waackers should ADAPT to the music. If the series of instrument is fast, then it's appropriate to do fast waacking. But if you are dancing to slow song like "Sway" (Michael Bublé) for instance, then a waacker should tone down the dynamic of her waacking. Waacking is seeing the music through arm movements. Like I can mute the video, and still be able to hear the music by looking at the waacker. Ideally.
@@ZeePark21I think what she meant wasn't in term of speed, but the crisp of the moves. Even if someone dance in a low bpm and slower, their moves should still be clean. Its a matter of body control, and Ibuki has wayyyy more experience and has mastered the basic techniques compared to Waackxxxy. Just look at MC Jo in this competition, he danced slower to Ibuki but his moves are just as crisp, imo their battle should've been the final one
@@ainocj173 and today Waackxxxy has reached that "crisp" y'all are talking about. The difference in her development from 10 years ago is huge that she literally dances in world stage and win.
@@ZeePark21 fr , like the difference is just unbelievable. She improved so much and gained her status for me as one of the top 3 waackers (her, ibuki and lipj)
