Incredible. As always. Had an interesting conversation with another couple of antique rock and roll guys like....and a guy said the most fascinating thing....Go to see a symphony orchestra playing Beethoven's 9th, for example. You are, in fact, enjoying a cover band. So: all you cover band haters. Like L & F? Yep... Saw you in Sellersville the other year... Looking forward to seeing you again. Good luck and smooth sailing!
Thst venue is not flattering to live music at all. Its also small stage wise. The trumpet needs to back it down a little bit. His sttack and volume are too loud.
Как то не ,,патриотично ,, Надо бы Есаула или Комбата сбацать . Это враждебная музыка .А кроме шуток молодцы .Только на ,,загнивающем ,,западе могут такие шедевры создаваться которые вы исполняете .Успехов .
WOW…… You can hear what a bad influence. We had on the Communists. Not so terribly many years ago. That they would also want to play with a,, Steely Dan. But they are no good. When they have no electricity to plug them into. And I asked, Skunk Baxter. Who is a conservative. How, could he be in a band called, Steely Dan? As a conservative. And for that matter.. Functioning with our DoD. How was he in a band called the Doobie Brothers? The federal government still hasn't legalized it, federally. So, I don't know, what up? With that? That's not very consistent now, is it? I was only scooping a news story for NBC in DC. Whom, I worked for. And a client of mine I had recorded numerous times before. Asked me to come down to a gig. He was playing for a Republican Party guy. Who would also, sitting with the band. Because he was a guitarist. And could I get some video for, Johnny Artis. So I asked Johnny. Who this was for? As I just got done doing the news for NBC-TV.. He told me he thought the guys name was…?…… Jeffrey Baxter? My brain sort of paused for a moment and I asked Johnny.. Do you mean, Skunk Baxter? He said I don't know maybe? I think so? Well I told Johnny. Sorry I can't come down with my camcorder for that. He said oh yeah… I understand. You are one of those union guys. I said no,, Johnny. I didn't mean that. This is newsworthy. I'm coming down with an NBC-TV News, Broadcast Grade Camcorder. He said oh great. Can you also do the sound for the PA? Yeah sure! It was very funny. I got to scoop the news. I turned the footage over to Doug McElroy. And when it rolled on air the following night on NBC-4 DC. I'm in the control room. I'm playing back my own footage behind the audio console. And I'm seeing it for the first time very like the viewer at home. As I just shot it, was doing the PA and camera. A huge union violation. Yet it still aired on the station I worked for. Because it was newsworthy. I had a lot of fun.. Skunk was cool. But told me he never smoked pot ever. I said, I'm supposed to believe that? He said that he figured I wouldn't. Right! So maybe he never smoked pot in the late 1960s? The LSD was so much better back then. And he,, Rows to new heights as a bottom feeding Republicunt. Go figure? How do you grow up that way and end up that way? Is republicanism just early-onset,, senility? RemyRAD PS the Skunk Baxter story of mine is for real. Simplified to keep the bandwidth at a minimum..
Thnx for sharing!! L&F always show such magical enthusiasm for every song, every performance....amazing group....recommend couple of studio YT vids...Ksenia singing "Never Felt This Way", her Carpenter's song "Superstar" and Michael singing "I'll Love You More Than You Will Ever Know "(BS&T).
Thanks for this great post! Glad to see L&F do this number in concert, looks like a pretty cool venue. Hope you enjoyed the show, we have enjoyed four of them since 2019!
