I also recommend trying the STIC Super X 38/40 carb. It provides substantial low end grunt, but it also adds a few HP 1300 RPM before stock peak HP and a couple HP 750 RPM after the peak. 3rd gear inclines at 1700 RPM and the throttle can be ham fisted without any clutching. No loss in power going 2 teeth off the rear sprocket and going to a taller tire! Small bore magic.
@@RyderSigety The 125SX kid plans to get the X carb. He's run it for 3 weeks now. He really likes how it pulls out of slower rutted turns. Uses the clutch less and gets on the power quicker.
Awesome riding if it wasn't for the guy getting stuck on the hill in front of you roles wouldve been reveresed at the end. The hard charge was almost enough!
If, after getting the factory keihin dialed in and you find your chasing more power out of your 125, I recommend a Stic Super X carb by Stic Super Torque. On my 23 yz125x, the impressive broad and wide power gains from bottom to top from the X carb alone was more noticeable and eye opening than my other bolt on mods; cylinder head, cdi, pipe. Some riders that I offered test rides to say, is it a 150? With the X carb at 1/4 throttle, it's almost as powerful as my factory dialed in keihin was at full throttle! The new Stic Super X carb provides a significantly wider power curve and power increase compared to the Stic metering block insert. This is mainly due to an additional air correction jet in the intake bellow area; additional passages in the jet block, and tube to create pressurisation and presure drops at the entry, middle, and exit area of the jet tube. This creates a shearing action within the jet tube itself to create superior fuel atomisation. The pilot circuit is sealed off from the float bowl! Below intermediate engine speeds it function as a normal pilot jet. However, from intermediate engine speeds and above, it reverses flow and feeds the main jet extra fuel vapour and air, creating an endless top end pull with fantasic over rev characteristics. The Super X is at home on an MX track or slow technical single track. Due to the fantasic fuel atomisation and various sensing passages in the jet block it is very stable with temp or elevation swings with only a tweak of the airscrew ever needed.
A little over my head but really good detailed info to show my dad!! I googled it and see its for sale at a few places on the internet, do u know the web address of the manufacturer?

Awesome riding, I enjoyed the commentary too! Man such gnarly terrain...compounded even more by some septic tank water....ewwww! Funny you guys mentioned Regina chains, I switched to a Regina chain (X-Ring) last year. I had been running Renthal chains and while they have been great as well, it seems like the Regina is even a bit better when it comes to wear resistance and I have had to adjust chain tension far less with the Regina so it has been stretching less as well. Thanks for posting these videos, Ill be sure to watch for new ones as they drop!
Thanks Adam! Appreciate the comment. If u watch our YZ125 jetting and 30 pro tip bike set up video, we talk about Regina and how Regina actually makes the chains for Renthal! BUT that doesnt mean they give Renthal the best or same quality that Regina branded chains are. Thanks for watching!
Great ride Ryder, your skills are awesome. Also so appreciate how polite you are despite the conditions. If you are having fun at this race, watch out everyone else! Great video as always, really appreciate how much work you guys put in to allow us to participate.
Fun fact, Snowshoe is situated within the East Coast National Radio Quiet Zone. Just on the other side of the mountain in Greenbank are some massive telescopes. Within Greenbank people can’t even have things like microwaves because it interferes with the telescopes!
Ryder, You are absolutely flying through the trails and trees! So much fun to watch you ride. Momentum is clearly your friends getting through some of this stuff!😅
