Do you love the outdoors? Are you an avid hunter, angler or traveler always seeking adventure? My passion is bringing the Wide Open Outdoors to screens around the world. You will learn tips and tricks from the best in the business while we explore exotic locations. - Dave Valtierra
It was a short 12 years ago that I began making “Shallow Water, Salt Water” educational DVDs, titled, “Inshore Fishing with Super DaveⓇ”. Shortly after, we began airing over 100 TV episodes on Fox Sports Southwest, CW35, KSAT Channel 12 & Fox 29.
You will be entertained and instructed on topics like saltwater fishing, freshwater fishing, kayak fishing, hunting big game, bow hunting and anything else that gets your adrenaline pumping. We’ve been to Colorado, Wyoming, Alaska, New Mexico, Boca Raton, St. Barts, The Yukon, The Florida Keys, Hawaii, Honduras and of course the deep South Texas.
Buckle your seatbelt because it’s always Wide Open. Don’t forget to click the subscribe button so you don’t miss out.
3 years ago is Old School??? NOTHING should be put on the ring screws. Proper torque will be reached with DRY screws. Even if you use the blue Loctite on screws, which is not recommended, you will end up over torquing the ring screws, very likely permanently damaging your scope. P.S. A 2 piece Pic rail should be used under the rings to give you more access to the chamber. Easier to get your fingers in there if you need to. A 1 piece Pic rail takes up alot of that room unnecessarily.
For the life of me. I just cannot understand how it was even possible that he got bit. People kiss rattlesnakes every day well just maybe not. I am sorry, he lost his life doing apparently what he loved but you messwith fire it eventually will burn you..
Headed to Eagle Pass this spring for a Corsican ram hunt. I’m really looking forward to it. Ive been working up several nice hunting loads for my 270 Win. Ive got a Barnes TTSX 130 grn load and a Nosler Partition 130 grn load that both shoot sub MOA.
Call me a slacker! Lol!! I can appreciate what it took to get down and back up. Sometimes you get blessed with next to no current. Nothing beats just going free of ropes. I wish it was more predictable but alas, it's not like the wind or tides. I enjoyed the video immensely! Good job. Can't wait to get on her again.
Durys sucks...they cheap you out when sellin and the CREW they run are a bunch of horses ass...the check out ladies are friendly tho...but of course they are they just fked you in the ass on price.
Yeah your fishing the lake when the lake has just turned over you will know by the sulfur smell but anytime of the year fish can be caught but certain times can be better just a beautiful lake❤ healthy fishery
I wonder if Lake Texoms could support a population of Redfish since they live in brackish water along side Stripers in there natural saltwater environment anyone know a fisheries biologist might know please leave me a comment
Sorry, friend….but you’re going to have to go back & re-film the entire episode with the proper pronunciation of the name Galena & a proper outfit to wear. Other than that, I’d say you nailed it!
Rich Gidrey is one of the best anglers around Corpus Christi, Tx. Years ago I worked with Rich and found Rich to be a standup guy, always pleasant and fun to be around. I really enjoyed the video and it was a good learning experience getting to see you two in action again. Great video guys. God bless for being good men and being good conservatioanist.
Was this satire? 45 ACP has poor penetration against anything thick-skinned, and on top of that you're shooting hollow points which hurts the penetration even more. If you have to carry a 45 for whatever reason, get yourself some hard cast bullets because they will crush anything in its path
I'm from South Texas too! I live in Corpus Christi but grew up in Brownsville and McAllen as a youth. Yes, I AM a good skier whose skiing specialty is the bunny slopes, where I would ski accident-free. I want to go skiing as early as December 2023 before heading to the McAllen area and Mexico for Christmas.
