Used to love fishing Lloyd's but refuse to go anymore since the absolute rip off charge of £5 for my partner to just sit and watch totally takin the PEE
Its changed on brookside the catfish lake is good had a few cats from the only isuue i have found is toilets only a porta loo no cafe no showers if your spending a few days on there you need these as a must
Absolutely shocking fishery. Severely underfunded. Poor pegs. Poor upkeep. Poor stocking . Worst place ive fished in 40 years seriously that bad. Youve have been warned

Great video, really informative. Greenwood Fisheries is a great place to spend the day fishing. My son & me prefer to fish the Lagoon as we've had some lovely Carp out of there. We've also had success with silvers & Tench out of the Kingfisher pool though. If you're interested in what we've caught over the 2021 season check out our RU-vid channel 'Carpy Do Em' . 😉

It hasn't. I fished both kingfisher and meadows recently and both are beyond rubbish! Low stock and not attractive in the least. Go elsewhere! I would suggest Partridge lakes.
@@ivornappinion9406 Yes Partridge Lakes. It's another fishery to the north of Warrington. It's pure class. The best fishery in the north west. 14 lakes,all well stocked,on site tackle shop and cafe! It's the dogs bollocks!

Me and my mate were greeted by a large squashed rat upon arrival. Throughout the day were entertained by feral rats in and out of the bushes. Luckily my friend had the solution to my ever-demanding stretch marks and whipped out the frying pan for the chicken burgers which somewhat calmed my nerves and man-boobs down. Happy fishing lads!
@@davewilliamsfishingsession1785 dave we have weekend sesh with camping this Saturday i was thinking off on bottom is that still good method as we staying there for 48 hrs is it still classed as a stocking lake. Also would it be effective with a pole for through day cheers for info mate
@@alanhaigh3684 yes you will still catch mate, 10mm boilies and 8 or 10mm carp pellets either using standard bottom free running rig or method feeder.....
I have fished there before, and a goose took my bread while it was sinking below the water, so I had to reel a goose in instead of a big carp becuase the goose hooked itself lol
No Paul, they have not been on there for a couple of years as the new owner asked them to leave as they where bad mouthing the fishery to anglers fishing there........silly......
Hi Dave , brilliant video mate nice one, really glad I found it actually as I have a match on badger early October and did not have a clue how to fish it, what would you advise mate tactics wise and bait wise ! My plan was to fish chopped worm hard on the deck along with a bit of meat and a banded maggot shallow, can you catch shallow that late on in the year mate or would you stick in the deeper water ? , thanks again Dave any tips would be really appreciated.
Hi Carl, Chopped worm would be good, Caster, Pinkies, Red Maggot will all catch. For the carp and stockies try an Xpand from Bait-Tech, start on 4mm then try 6mm and feed fishery micros over the top. Depending on the weather over the next week or two you might find it hard going fishing shalla on maggot but give it a try you never know...... Hope this helps?, and good luck. Regards Dave. Cheers for replying mate, yeah I will definitely be trying expanders now Dave hopefully catch sum of the lumps that are meant to be in there. If you shorten the line between float and pole tip you will hit them bites mate.... also having 2xNo.8s as back shot will keep the rig more stable 👍👍🎣🎣🎣
