Nice sound! Love my 2005 XB12S. Question: How did you bypass the clutch switch? Did you just cut the wires and solder them together? Asking because I see aftermarket levers on there. Or do those levers work with the stock switch? Thanks!
Thanks, the levers were made by CRG and are specific to the Buell, so they activate the clutch switch. They're on the expensive side but of extreme quality, I buy them for all my bikes.
Harley did their biggest mess up by treating Buell the way they did. The man was an innovator, could've brought Harley to the sport bike segment, but instead...
Very true, as a comeback, buell released the 2010 Buell blast. They were basically crushed buell blasts made into cubes. He never wanted to make that bike
I didn't lose the rivets(steel), but they stayed in the end(also steel) and ate their way to the end of the can(ALUMINUM!!) I fixed and cobbled that thing back together three times. After the last come-apart I tore the POS the rest of the way off, left it on the roadside, and finished the weekend on open headers.
Really? What would you recommend other than jardine? I just put mine on today and did all 5 tunes, reading this comment makes me nervous, first I’ve heard anyone say anything bad about jardine.
@@IvanTheProducer Man, I wouldn't worry too much about it if you haven't heard it before. See people tend to have something happen to them. Could be a total fluke, and then suddenly they tell everyone that it happens all the time to everyone.
do it you won't regret it. I have an 08 with the jardine muffler and this video doesn't do justice at how deep and bassy and loud it is. not harley raspy loud, just a high performance bike loud type of noise
