Classic no plastic unlike nowadays, was doing rallies then and still doing them(42 years)not as good now as back then but still have same mates on the scene and some new.ktf✋
I purchased 1 very similar to this & they were used for muscle simulation around the 1920's. Mine cost £25 at a vintage fair & still has the original Siemens big brown battery
how do you maintain a fan to last this long? The longest I have had a fan was a Lasko box fan that last 14 years. Even after lubricating it the fan did not work.
I'm hearing it right know while laying in my van at the campsite. I wondered if this is a foghorn, so now I know 😊 But I have also to say that it doesn't really sound like a good old fashioned horn, more like a train horn but one from those small electric trains 😅🤷♂️
Being a scooterboy in the 80s were the best of times, all that 2 stroke we breathed in , has probably kept alot of us going, and to those that heat siezed on the way... We salute you👍 . KTF.
Howdy, OMGoodness - I've never seen this one before. It's beautiful. How wonderful that it's still owned by those few. I'm not surprised it still works. I've had my Singer for many, many years with no problems. They just don't make them like they used to. Thanks for sharing. This brought a smile to my face. (Just searched it and yours is immaculate in comparison.) love it
This is incredible. I have a plum that I would like to espelier on a fence just like this. I see you have grapes as well. I have a concord grape I want to plant! I would like to mimic this. How do you know how many leaves to trim off the grapes and when?
I just follow it as it climbs, being its a vine. As it grows upwards I trim off any shoot I don't want, leaving only the side shoots I want. I tie these horizontally as it grows over the season. Any shoots or leaves that go vertically that I don't want, I cut off. I hope that helps.
@@madmickshere That's so helpful! I'm so excited. I have the plum planted and am transplanting the grape per your example tomorrow! This has been a solution to a problem I've been thinking about for a couple years. Thank you!
jet engine tech here - at least 5 types of lines (not broken down into smaller groups) , hydraulic, electro, pneumatic, oil and Jet fuel - Each line has been heat expansion AND resonance optimized, which is why you sometimes see a straight line with a random U shape, in the middle of a long run.
You're welcome. All I can say is ours was a new boiler fitted on old pipes and radiators and the magnetic filter really does collect all the crap out of the system. It's easy to clean and then add inhibitor. I hope that helps.
Magnetic filters are usually fitted when a boiler is first installed however they can be added to an existing system by a Gas Safe registered engineer, if there is sufficient space. They are installed on the boiler return pipe (the pipe that returns water to the boiler once it has travelled around the heating system).
@@madmickshere Thanks for the reply,i am going to drain my old open vented system and thinking of adding one,i am a plumber but no real heating experience but i have room to fit one,i am not touching boiler so i can fit one just wondering if it would be worth while to fit other than a flush and topping with inhibiter...Thanks for any advice..
