Hey @TravelMoreWithKristin did you do that excursion all in one day? The hike and then beach hop? Did y’all get chairs at Sugarbeach and hangout or just pulled up on the boat and then got back on ur boat? What type of room did you stay in at the resort? How was the food?
Hi Sarah! We used Captain's Cliff Tours and yes did the excursion all in one day. We met him in Castries and you can basically design your itinerary. We started with Tet Paul Nature Trail, opted to skip the volcano/mud bath, then went to Sugar Beach. You can't rent chairs as it is a private resort, so we just snorkeled and walked the beach. We then toured around some cool coves on the way back. Regarding Calabash, we stayed in the main house in a Sunset Ocean View Room. It's a small property with 2 restaurants. The food is good, fine dining but no strict dress codes.
Loved the video! We are going to Calabash in a few weeks and are so excited! Did you do most of your excursions through booking with the resort front desk or did y’all book your own online? I know a lot of things (Pitons, chocolate plantation) are a long car ride away from where Calabash Cove is. Thanks!
Hi Mike! Thanks for watching. I highly recommend taking a private boat tour - we went with Captain Cliff's Boat Tours, tell him Kristin sent you! It's a great way to see the south side of the island and we stopped at all the best spots. I attached a link below. Happy to answer any questions.
@@TravelMoreWithKristin Hey Kristin!! Thanks for the tip! We are excited to do the Piton hike but know that is far from Calabash. Any recommendations there would be super helpful!
@@mikehoy2886 Yes it is a bit far traveling by taxi from Calabash, If you can I recommend you travel by boat. They will take you to the Pitons and bring you back to the hotel. CaptainCliffTours
