I nrver take braids or twist out on damp hair. Always dry then i comb out debri because once water hits hair if there is any lint debri or dirt it instantly mats.

I’m mixed and have 3c hair I say do what you want with your hair it’s yours, just nurture it in between different styles. I’m in the season of life right now it’s just easier to keep it straight, and I like seeing the length of my hair that you can’t see when it’s curly. I’m a homeschooling mom of 5 as well. I love my long curly hair it’s just easier to have it straight right now. So my new routine is once a week when I wash my hair, I just straightened. Your hair is beautiful by the way curly or straight!!!!!
