I LOVE how much louder the turbos sound with these down pipes but don’t want to make the exhaust a lot louder than stock. Be honest, is it a lot louder on the exhaust side with the down pipes or mostly just more turbo noises and a little more growl? Ty
Is it also straight piped? And what’s your 0-60 now? I had a 428i full bolt on and about to get one of these, and definitely want to swap to catless, and straight pipe it right away. This is gonna be so fun to drive lol
This was with factory resonators and factory rear section muffler. Most else I would of done was delete the resonators but left the rear muffler. They have a nasty overtone if you straight pipe them.

Haven’t had mine Dyno’d to know the exact change amount of power gain, but you’ll feel the difference. I’d suggest going custom tune instead of OTS. Honestly.
Muffler delete is gonna make it quite a bit louder with quite a bit of drone especially being that it would make it open true dual at that point which will sound strange in my opinion. X-pipes are meant to combine the exhaust gases from both sides creating a more controlled merged sound and exhaust pulse. I believe in keeping the muffler and just adding an X-Pipe and removal the rear resonators to free up some flow and better sound.
and I feel a a soon to be 2.8 to 6.2L swap coming on now lol. Damn that sounds good. Just scooped up a 2.8L to daily and after THIS ... now a swap is in effect.
Were you filling up through the night to raised the E content in the tank? If not it doesnt go up that slowly. The Flex sensor and gauges that read E take about 3-5 min to full adjust and read the E%
Its great for journal bearing turbo of this size. I got myself s252sxe .63 from agp its slightly smaller but i will be running it on 2.1 8 valve. Is it 2.4 or 2.0? Thanks
Wojciech Gryncewicz 2.4 stock block on low boost. Yeah i built and tuned my buddies on an s261 and that thing was vicious. Made 520 on a mustang dyno on 26 psi.
how is it for daily driving 65 70 in 6th and stuff like that? sounds great almost the same setup i have in my 07. waiting on cam btr iv or this cam , have ported ls2 intake ,pascesetters and 3 inch x piped no cats with dynomax race bullets. did you have any before dyno numbers ?
