It's less for me about the amount of inventory than about the greedy competitive behavior of some resellers. These people block others in the store, grab things, hoard things and behave in rude ways. Not everyone behaves like that but the ones who do give resellers a poor reputation.
They aren’t supposed to change the price once they’ve hit the floor unless they suspect some tag switching has happened. At my thrift store we love resellers so don’t be shy about that. You make it possible for us to clear the floor and make room for more stuff.
I wish they would just ban resellers as they are. There's so many new ways earning income while still being ethical. Yet u were still able to choose something thats a complete scam and destroys something good. Goodwill huh?:) fascinating
I got Cutco knives at a yard sale for a dollar apiece. Also a Michael Kors wool coat. I even asked the woman- you’re selling a Michael Kors wool coat for a dollar? She said yes. (The Cutco knives I was trying to be cool as I’m doing the “start the car!” run out the door.)
I donate my stuff to local shelters or if I know someone who may need whatever I have. Like baby clothes, when my daughter grew out of it, I had a couple who I would let them pick out what they wanted before sending it off to a local shelter.
I'd be embarrassed to make this video. Resellers here will fill their carts with everything thats marked down (tag color), then plop down in furniture to sort it- so others don't get a chance to get something before they do. Super selfish.
My neighbor used to make a living doing this. She’d get stuff from Savers and from the dump to resell on Facebook. She was so proud of herself. She called it “her business” and I heard her get upset with her daughter once for telling customers where her mom gets the clothes. I’m like but you DO just get them from the dump!
Goodwill is for people who cant afford expensive cloths and everything and resellers take that away because they are greedy and don’t think about the people who actually need it.
How are they wasteful?? All this stuff was donated not thrown away. The stuff at the bins is stuff the thrift store didn’t sell so they send it here to be sold by the pound.
Stop hating on Murray there are many resellers who are doing the same type of content and no one types these harsh comments on their channels. I swear every time I look at Murray’s shorts there are always haters there.
