hoping this video will help me figure out how to layer Traktors fx like I used to be able to in Serato. I loved making intensely psychedelic, fractal sounding delays in Serato and modulating the feedback/repeats in crazy ways. I'm really struggling to get anything close in Traktor even tho I switched bc I've always heard that Traktor had the best. I'm honestly not super crazy about any of them compared to fx expansions in Serato. Traktor is definitely the better software overall so it's really disappointing to me
its a tom from a 909 drum kit, ableton has a 909 stock kit (909 is a actually a drum sequencer from back in the day and many sounds from it are almost used as industry standards even till this day)

I bought this masterclass and have a question. Someone know how to make the sound that he record from ms20 in the second track he showed Polarisation. Amazing sound in loop, i would love to design something similar 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@chontane I ask because I want to know what’s better to produce the low end first since I have an ok studio… so headphones first then double check in monitors? Or the other way around?
I would always work with monitors when working on the low-end, provided you have good acoustics in your room to properly hear what you're doing in that range. After mixing on those monitors, I recommend checking it with studio headphones. Finally, I would also listen to the track on headphones commonly used by the majority, like AirPods, to get a sense of how it would sound to most people.
@@chontane ok what if I don’t have good acoustics in the room? I would say 60% of the studio is treated… should I still go for the monitors first or headphones?
The most important thing is that you know the sound of your room and your headphones. Choose the tool you know the best and where you feel the most comfortable working. If you know how your room and headphones sound, you know how things should sound when working with them. The best you can do is get to know your working tools as well as possible.
My HDJ-X5 broke at the connection to the ear cups on both sides at the same place. This happened after ±1½ year of use. By the way, I did not use them very often and certainly not professionally. Pioneer says on its website about the HDJ-X5: "All the HDJ-X headphones feature a refined look and durable construction." Well, the construction of this HDJ-X5 is not at all durable. Positive: the sound quality and the wearing comfort are good.
