Hello everyone - I don't want any legal issues or anyone taking this down, so I won't reveal myself totally outright - but I was the director / bassist / the (hybrid with the original recording) voice of the Judge in this show. I guess I'll reveal some of the "mystery" surrounding this performance. This was a passion project from 2017 that I'd been cooking up for years, after falling in love with the album. I would spend my days in high school and college daydreaming about how to stage this thing, how it would be interpreted, where I'd pull the best elements from each incarnation of the album from... Eventually, and incredibly, all the stars aligned. After miraculously securing Roger's personal blessing (I contacted the webmaster at the Brain Damage fan website, he got me in touch with someone in Roger's management) - this show was performed at a university as part of an extra-curricular amateur theater club on campus. It wasn't a class project, these are not trained actors or singers or musicians, and there were no professors or "adults" involved - it was just a bunch of nerdy, extremely talented kids working their asses clean off. And to this day, I'm still so overwhelmingly grateful to every single person that was involved in making this dream come true. I just want to say after 3 years of having this up, it's been unreal seeing the overwhelmingly positive response. Pink Floyd fans picking up on not just the fun easter eggs, but folks saying that this show is true to the original album's content and intent is the best compliment I could ask for. I'm still proud of this show, knowing that we put it together on a literal shoestring budget and a lot of sleepless nights. I personally owe my current life to this show too. In fact the guy who plays Pink, the drummer, and I didn't want to stop playing music together after the show ran its course. So we started a band called The Toxhards, which was signed a year ago and we're now spending half each year on the road touring and recording, doing exactly what we love. You best believe we still play Comfortably Numb as a tribute to our humble beginnings in this show. I can't thank The Wall enough - the hands down greatest album of all time, and I can't thank every single one of you enough for tuning in!

I grew up with The Wall and it helps me thru the darkest time of my live. I know every note of it and I listened to many live versions including Rogers, of course. So I don't have any expectations about this adaptation but I must say this is one of the best shows of The Wall I've ever seen. You bring new live in this pice of art in the very clever arrangement of the musical parts (additional themes, duets, solos etc.) and the theatrical adaptation, that makes me wish to see this live again. Thanks for that, Rock on...

Thankyou so much for this show and giving a little bit of the background in how it came about. I have actually watched this more than Rogers Wall tour. I find this to be so much more raw and relying more on the talented cast and musicians than visuals. The ending makes me emotional. You should tour this but I know it would be hard. Thanks again.

This is great. Very accurate interpretation of the story. In the Flesh and Run Like Hell brought me to tears. Also I like that Another Brick In The Wall Part 2 is more about rebelling against the school and the teacher, except for the end bit of the song I never got that sense in the movie of The Wall. My one tiny bit of constructive feedback is that they shouldn’t have used the traditional Wall animation from the movie. I liked that they used the movie screen in certain areas especially for Don’t leave Me now, but the performances from the actors and actresses were so powerful that the original animation really wasn’t necessary. The only animation from The Wall movie that would’ve been appropriate was the Ass Judge in The Trial. Honestly this interpretation is absolutely brilliant.

I mean, it's only a warning for the people that don't want to view those themes. But the entirely of In The Flesh (the reprise one, not the one at the start) does have him literally becoming the thing that killed his father, which is literally the Nazis. If you don't see a problem with that, that's on you, but they're obviously not doing it to say "this album is racist" because that's far from true

Very interesting interpretation. The interludes were a great idea. The only choice I wouldn't have made is the addition of the hero's return. There's 3 songs from the Final Cut that belong on the Wall, When the Tigers broke Free / Anzio '44, The Gunner's Dream, and the Final Cut.

I was checking out some Pink.Floyd videos on RU-vid and I came across this, I am so happy to find some kids who love this album as much as I do!! I mean you must really love it to go through all that work to make a stage production out of The Wall. am lucky because the double-vinyl album came out when I was in 7th grade and I was a hard partier in high school and I must of heard this album at every party I went to during my high school years, when I first heard it I had no idea who Pink Floyd was. As a matter of fact when I first started hearing it at parties I hated it. Because I used to like to drink and dance and “The Wall” is not easy to dance to (slow dance, ya to some of it) By the time CDs came out I was bummed-out because I couldn’t afford the double cd until I was in my late 20’s, so, I took that double-album almost every where and pretty much wore it out. You could tell you guys took parts from every version of the album (Vinyl, VHS, Live Concert, Box Sets) because believe me I have them all now, even the box sets (like immersion). I even noticed how you guys snuck in the alarm clocks from “Time” (Dark Side of the Moon). I was amazed at some of the people in your audience, you could tell some of them had no idea what to expect like when you were pulling people out of the audience (“ In The Flesh?” and “Run”) but their were others who were doing the crossed arms salute. You guys did a really great job!! Like someone else commented, I didn’t have that kind of talent in my high school!! Thanks again for sharing it on You Tube.

Nice! I finished this moments ago! Loved it!! My child is so disappointed in her school for not doing something as artistic as this. The actors here show something very important for playing their parts - passion. Sadly, many schools only have boring replayed plays every year... the same thing and mostly High School Musical. And many of the students aren't there for passion of the performance or teamwork. They only want a few moments in the spotlight. I have no idea who put this amazing Pink Floyd The Wall play on, but I could see how important it was to them. They were all outstanding. Glad to meet you here!
