Interesting how they used the ultra violet as a bright winter colour, although in their videos they call it periwinkle and use it for bright spring. Personally, I think it's a winter colour. It always looks very disattached from warm toned people, it's a blue violet and definitely cool and bright.
@MiliVelikova
@MiliVelikova 16 часов назад
@@Miki_Merhavi it's interesting! Perhaps because bright spring is the sister season of bright winter, bright spring can borrow it and perhaps wear with some of their warmer better colours? It would probably look nice with a warm beige! But I agree, it's quite cool toned and often looks quite separate from warm toned people, unless someone is very obviously bright and not as obviously warm!

When this video popped up in my suggestions I instantly was like "definitely Winter", I feel like despite the points you've mentioned, it's pretty obvious in your case that you are not an Autumn. You're not looking as soft and blended like an autumn would appear like, there's nothing truly earthy about you either. I get why people might confuse you for an Autumn, but especially when you're surrounded by autumn colors it is incredibly obvious it's not your palette. What I have to admit though: I did like the hues of the Winter Deep palette a bit better on you, especially the blue and red from the Cool Winter palette were not my favorites on you, but that doesn't mean, I think you got the wrong result, I just like a lot how the petroleum and orchid did interact with your own coloring and I think you can easily wear them as well. AI is really not working for color analysis, it might one day but as of now it definitely won't. I got a Soft Summer result with AI and when I got my colors done professionally I came out to be Light Spring. Pretty different result, especially in terms of chroma/intensity (and depth/value as well). I can look past the mistake of telling me I'm neutral-cool instead of neutral-warm, but not the rest of the mistakes AI easily makes. I can even wear Bright Spring colors better than Soft Summer colors. I do also think that a lot of colors from other Winter palettes will look amazing on you if you wear a tad bit of make up to balance them. It won't be that easy with other palettes though. At least that's what I noticed in the past year. I got told that often times brighter seasons can easily wear colors of other palettes as long as in your case they are or lean cool and in my case they lean warm or are warm and won't look inherently bad, just not as lively as in their own palette. So if you happen to like softer colors, you could still wear them. I guess in your case it's more important that the hue is cool than it is for me that it's warm (coz I'm neutral-warm, but you're fully cool). I love your vibe by the way, it matches the lively colors of your palette.
@MiliVelikova
@MiliVelikova 17 часов назад
@@JuliaKirsty hey Julia, thank you so so much for the thoughtful and detailed comment. I really appreciate hearing your point of view, and ever since posting this video I have had about 10 different people tell me that I was obviously cool. It's so fascinating because for the past 3 years I really struggled to see it and it is only after having the analysis done that I can actually appreciate my colouring. I do agree with you about the winter deep colours and especially petroleum and orchid are some of my favourites, and I do like myself in that so so much actually. so I do wear those colours a lot even though technically it might not be necessarily my entire best palette, but I do think because I have quite dark hair I can easily pull off those colours and I think they look good. I do agree as well that AI just doesn't work and I think it's just been programmed to analyse things like hair and eyes, and so for me it always told me I'm autumn and for you it'll be telling you that youre a summer even though you're completely different- not just warm but also intensity as well. So definitely a human touch I think is required! I'm really glad you had your colours analysed and definitely experimenting with your colours is one of the best ways to find not just what you like but also what you feel amazing in! I recently got my colors done in person (not from the place you were talking about). I always thought I was an autumn because my hair color tends to be a brown with red tones in it and my eyes are green. I always liked autumn colors. However, as I got older and my hair started to get gray in it, I found those colors didn’t seem to look as good. When I went recently in person, they said I was a cool summer! I never would’ve thought had cool undertones. But like you were told, my undertone had nothing to do with my warmer hair and eye colors. Throughout the whole analysis, I definitely saw my skin color, looking better, more clear and even toned and soft cool colors. I always looked at the warmth being reflected from warm colors and thought that warmth was, good. However, when I saw the difference similar to what you were showing, I could definitely see how cool tones were better. I must say it’s been a real struggle for me too shift my mind around finding cool colors and cool neutrals.

I have similar characteristics to you in my coloring, neutral looking skin and hazel eyes, and I was also typed as a cool winter in an online color analysis by the Colour Analysis Studio. I did not do the deluxe package so it was interesting to hear your experience. I had reached the conclusion on my own before doing the analysis but I wanted it confirmed because I didn’t want to keep wasting money on the wrong colors. Having it confirmed really helped because I got rid of all the warm toned clothes, shoes, makeup, etc. I even decorate my home in cool colors because my husband is a deep winter. The Colour Analysis Studio does recommend cool winters look best in Navy so I have been buying more navy than black and I am loving the navy. It is now obvious to me that navy suits me even more than black. It’s definitely easier to mix and match my wardrobe and packing for trips is easier. But I'm feeling bit unsure about my palette now. I was typed as warm autumn and I don't think I was typed wrong, but even in my color palette I find it difficult to choose colors that really make me shine. Even with browns and beiges it needs to be a really specific tone in order to work for me.

@MiliVelikova 2 дня назад
Wow it's been so interesting to hear from a few different people that "it's obvious you're cool" .. trust me, for 3 years I could NOT see it! But I'm glad you see it, it just confirms it for me! I think for me, talking to Giulia did help me to see the differences between the cool / warm. I do think you're an autumn though - I just watched your GRWM video and saw your natural skin, and the bright white seemed a bit "off". But with makeup you can pull off white / black! Also autumn warm is the closest to medium intensity, so it makes sense that with makeup you can pull off these quite clear colours! I wonder - do you like to wear any reds? I understand having mountain / mushroom / fire roots, you're probably not into yellows and oranges too much. But I wonder if you had any warm brown jumpers or any quite bright reds? I think you'd look stunning in quite "bright for autumn" colours!
@KatariinasVanity
@KatariinasVanity 2 дня назад
@@MiliVelikova I think it's always more difficult to look at yourself objectively. But also there's a lot of misconception about brown eyes and brown hair meaning you are an autumn. So no wonder it has been harder for you to see it. I have been sometimes wondering if I lean more true autumn than warm, because when I got my analysis done my hair was warmer and lighter. But I don't think it makes a huge difference. And either way my favorite color black is not in my color palette but I still keep wearing it lol. But it is obvious I am warm, because my worst colors are cool pink, blue and grey. Yes, I absolutely love a true red! But I'm really picky about the tone again. It needs to have a littel bit of depth. And I do love different tones of brown. I have tried to get into those typical autumn colors - olive greens, oranges and mustards. But they just feel too earthy for me.
