Honestly I love how she said no cuz I need my girls. To me this kind of shows how loyal she is to the other two urgentes. And I love how as soon as they were all together they just jumped right into it it shows the deep bond that they have with each other and honestly it warms my heart
I am a 74 year old female, I am greatly astounded to be able to hear this Ruth Brown sing “Lucky Lips!” I was around the age of 5when my Godmother’s sister sung it to me.
This score will always be a favorite of mine and this anniversary concert was so special. Would love to see more footage of it, if it's possible. I was so happy to be a tiny fly on the wall during this event. Can't believe it's been 10 years since this concert and 20 years since the Broadway run. Wild.
I learned this song during voice lessons in high school 15 years ago, it randomly popped in my head this morning. Sort of wondering what made my voice teacher choose this song for me 🤨😂 Her voice is great and this is such a fun song!
