You need to look at the difference what PS4 didn’t come with there was another PS4 that came with camera but that was in Japan it costed $499.99 so Microsoft was ripping us off they weren’t giving you a camera for free when Microsoft releases a Xbox one that came with no camera how much did that cost same price the PS4 that came with no camera

Microsofts best move back then would be giving them consoles free away but charge 10bucks extra each game. Easy monopoly. No secret that Sony making most money on selling games. Selling a high end plattform for all your home entertainment cheap but then making money on the media to play.
The Xbox one and ps3 both have that in common, and they both released more versions after that. Also not pointing fingers, but the cheaper versions of the original ps3 weren’t as good by a long shot and the Xbox one s/x were way better than the OG Xbox one would ever be.
They ruined his legacy even in 2024 ps kick out Xbox….i don’t even know what console they brought to the game…in mind ps5 all day but will wait patiently, there isn’t too much a gap from ps4 to ps5
Lets remember that the original xbox one wasnt the best at launch even without the heavy pricetag. You had to be connected to internet at all time, you had to use the connect as well. It didnt give you an option. Meanwhile, the ps4 was more powerful, comes with a better pricetag, and it is very easy to use.
Ngl I feel Phil being a sideline character sucked for him pretty hard, he knew that the higher management did pricing of xb1 extremely wrong, and he may had knew before the conference what PS4 pricing was gonna be
