I have a weird question...I am planning to enter SK in Jan so I want to get my things ready...what type of power plug or plug point do they have...because you know most of our hair tools is two pin and is rounded...so do I need a universal plug?

Thank You so much Babe. You can start with Hong Kong, Philippines, China or Japan too because they are the closest to us 😍 Travelling alone is my fave, I get to control my days events etc, it’s so fun although travelling with others is fun as well.

Eeeyyyy wena!!! I find Daegu to be much cheaper than Incheon hey! I have a few small markets on my end where I get great deals! It’s even easier to get more fruits down here 😝😝😝
Not really, a lot of people don’t wear make up & do get jobs, but it looks like your chances become higher when you do have some on , wigs too🙃 The Chinese seem to have this “perfect imagine” of what a Teacher should look like - TOTALLY UNNECESSARY as your face is not the one teaching the kids 🙃 sadly, they tend to be as shallow as some of these Korean schools telling people to wear make up and wigs.
I used to pull my chair and luggage bag close to my drying rack so I can sort of “lay out” my bedding. It worked so well 🥹 Trust me, you will find all sorts of creative ways to work with the little space you’ve been given! I’m currently in a similar situation now & I know what to do at my new place although it’s a bit more spacious with a bigger drying rack 😁 - The heat here does a lot of the job too for me 🤣

I would not recommend Japan currently as the economy is very backwards. The value of yen is also very low compared to SA. Cost of living is a bit high and if you work for “Eikiwa(Private-Interac) you barely get paid days off. If you do consider, look at international schools rather in Japan
I’m currently in Japan and LOVE IT! 😅 The salaries aren’t so great here too, similar to Korea, but because I have fallen in love with it, I wouldn’t mind the experience of just working here even thought it may not be friendly on my pocket LOL. Most def not for an Eikawa, I prefer proper schools. Public would be okay. I don’t have a Teaching license so I don’t think I would be able to get into an International school hey 🥹 but I love Japan so far! 🤩

No Khensi! You’re not crazy 😅 sometimes we don’t have the best experiences in these countries. Good on you for leaving because of your mental health, proud of you. I wouldn’t have risked it either. I wish I had a better experience though, I did want to work in China for a bit especially considering I had a school that had the type of curriculum I liked 🥺🥺🥺 I hope you’re feeling much better now ❤️ By the way, would you be interested in being part of a video project I’m working on? I’m pretty sure there is a part where people do start to enjoy teaching the little ones, perhaps one day I should give them a shot again & see how things work out (In a different city though) 😅 I won’t lie, I’m kicking myself right now because I would’ve also been on a summer break for a whole 6 weeks 🥹 I hope you enjoy it! I did an interview with chatteris i didn't qualify for the second stage. I did also with Eureka no reply till date. I don't know why.. maybe because am from Nigeria.
I’m sorry to hear this. I would advice you send Eureka an email again (apply on their site) and try Headstart too! It’s not about your nationality, There’s someone I know who works with a Zimbabwean through Eureka, so Hong Kong is not as uptight as Korea & China. Japan is also another option if you’re still looking, your nationality won’t be a problem there too , All the best Emmanuel❤️

I’m baaaaaaaaaack!!!! Korea has captured my heart, I felt guilty for even keeping my “sarange” in China, but if I had stayed long enough I would’ve gone Chinese 🥹 all the guilt is gone now though, we’re back in this cute country.
