I'm been exploring abandoned places for 25 years now. It all started with a road map, 35 mm camera and plenty of wrong turns. I focus primarily on photography but try to create video content for those curious about my travels.

I explored the building two separate days now and it makes me sad for how much more destroyed the building has gotten. What you seen a year ago is nothing compared to what it is now it makes me very sad
It’s incredible the shape that the building is in despite being abandoned. I’m shocked at all the things that have been left behind in the principal’s office, artwork in classrooms, desks, chairs that could have gone to other schools. Many things could have been given to charity. There were even some gymnastics mats left in the gymnasium! There was a mess in the former cafeteria behind where the staff worked! I hope that something is done with the old high school building soon! I know that the town has a plan, but it seems that they are taking a long time to move forward with it while the efforts are focused on the waterfront . Thank you for taking the time to document the old school building before it’s gone.
I think it's quite a feat that you were able to find out this much about the family! These houses where everything is just left, following the death of the owners are particularly sad, to me. Thanks for sharing your finds!
hello, i live near this area, and now they have boarded up everything, how were you able to get in? and on top of that is the building still low profile? i heard that they are turning it into a residence home but i stil havent looked into it yet, please drop some information for me, itd be much appreciated
What a stupid fate for a gorgeous, century+ house. I comfort myself when these types of homes disappear, that some salvage operation goes in and removes the fancy windows and other architectural details.
What a beautiful, gothic-style farm house! Sad that likely whoever buys it, won't see that beauty and make the effort to preserve and restore it. A rotten McMansion will take its place. The baby robin likely benefited from your attempting to rescue it, as you frightened it into making a wobbling flight out on its own. I wish people would cover their window wells as there are toads, frogs and other creatures that can't get out on their own. Thanks for this, TWP!
A building synonymous with the London Ontario skyline of the 70s and 80s. As seen from the VIA Rail and previous CN Rail passenger trains from the late 60s to the early 90s which regularly passed by the London Free Press building as it was. I always believed this location would become the site of what was later Budweiser Gardens.
imagine. we could repair the whole thing up, hook up hydro and water, and make it into a homeless shelter. north bay and surrounding areas- especially sudbury- has a huge housing crisis. and these buildings are just sitting over in towns nearby, completely unused and abandoned. what a pity. i’m gonna see who owns the deed. i might eventually buy it someday
Whoever it was that made these changes on this house (or if someone abandoned it); they ruined this house! It looked so awesome the way it looked in the late 1990's, when they filmed Goosebumps: Night of the Living Dummy 3, here! If you just watch that goosebumps episode, it will show you the great quality of the dining room, family room, and bedrooms in there, and what it looked like back then, (in comparison to now)! Such a bummer!
When I was 5 years old I all most died at home I was from a small town called Massey and I got rushed in a ambulance to that hospital they saved me but a there they started to do bad things to me and It was so haunted that a girl in the the next room was screaming and freaking out that she seen a ghost and one got attached to me
You missed so much. The tech hall? The catwalk. More of the offices. What the hell was the schhol board thinking? This school had so much life left in it. The class photos and student art etc. I cant believe it was all just left there!
The walls and ceiling had asbestos which is carcinogenic. The board thought it was better to build a new school rather than try to remove the asbestos.
