@@BurkosFishingAdventures so annoying thing that happened tho was I didn't bring a rod with me and I ran outta fuel in the middle of the lake between the Mitchell and Tambo river mouths. But dad came and gave me more and we got home good. The boat I got is a Savage Avalon with an old 45hp Chrysler outboard on it I'm pretty sure its a 71 model

What a nice afternoon of fishing and would gladly trade you. Right now its just small trevs everywhere, except the rocks and have tried several different locations this week. Very nice job Brett, you're on fire of late with those Bream!

Wow, it was a Bream fest, several nice ones and the wind looked a bit calmer after you moved. Hopefully you're going to get some of that nice weather next week, looks like a few days just made for fishing coming up.
@@LarrysFishing I hope the weather improves. It was very fresh yesterday. My catches where average, people have been catching massive bream in the Mitchell as of late. I'll be back for the bigger ones. I'll change bait to cut crab 🦀 will entice the bigger ones.

Gday Burko, that was a nice session on the little ones, at least it wasn't a donut day. Metung is a beautiful place to fish Last time I fished there was at Chinaman's creek jetty and the Taylor were going off, it was just bust up after bust up and my sister and I caught probably 50 fish between us a couple on soft plastics until I realised they were Taylor and they were chewing them to pieces then proceeded to catch them on every lure I had in my tacklebox including little trout diving lures, daiwa double clutch, metal vibes and even a stump jumper it was a great afternoons fishing, Cheers.
Thanks for the info. Yeah its give and take of late. I speak to people saying they been catching snapper and Bream. All sized. I will give it ago, again. I will never give up.
"The wall" in Metung is a great fishing spot - but you really need to cast out far - there is a "drop off" - cast past that and you can get a large variety. Cast short and you'll struggle. Looks like you also had great weather.
Looks the same here also. Weather crap. Hope you catch a cod next trip to Deni. Michelle been sick all week. Cold/flu like symptoms. I hope I don't get it. Hopefully Wednesday looks ok for another fish here. Take care....
The opposite for me yesterday, Pilchard worked and just 1 off the Prawn. Nice mixed bag and was hoping you would get something from that fillet at the end. Weather is dreadful the next 2 days, so looks like no more fishing until I get to Deni, hopefully its better for you over there. Nice job and hope all is well!
