I KNOW why they didn't make it. It was the lame half heart Ted Nugent type solos. Some of the songs were on mark, but too many were just goofy. Example, stupid song called Mad Dog. They should have just zeroed in on just being as heavy as possible. Great band name, looked great, they were great live. But if you listen carefully, they were not as tight as they should have been. The drums got too messy at times.
Ha Saxon…I put in a bid for production from my sound company…for a San Antonio show….we didn’t meet their rider for production….but two cases of wine where on hospitality rider…no tea-
Um.... and um.... anvil um.... he says um between just about every other word .... lol.... he is a total historian of metal and music tho.... damn i thought i was a metal history buff.... lars names bands I've only heard rumors of .... wow!...
Anvil is Metal. All their albums are #1 for me. No other bands can touch them. Some band should go and listen some Anvil again to hear how to be metal again. Anvil is the best
Yeah well Lars.... Anvil never cut their hair and sold out, neither did Anvil sue Napster or hire a psychologist and show themselves as whiny brats etc. You sold out to corporations. They own your soul.
Rob Reiner to THIS DAY!! is a drummer that can consistently, teach, deliver the goods & DO!! what a young drummer in any band can muster ALL in the name of having fun in METAL!!!.. very VERY underated drummer.🥁🤘
Totally agree…and not an Anvil fan. He’s lightning fast and his fills are surprisingly tasteful for music that’s otherwise pretty pedestrian. I found a YT vid of him soloing… crazy good with that matched grip!
