Let's get a dose of reality in here... 99% of singers that have been in the game this long can't sing like they used to. It's just human nature for our voices to change as we get older. When you're living large and popular for decades most want to keep that money roll rolling in so you gotta do what you can. I still find it decietful especially with the price of a ticket to seethese classic rock bands today. I saw Joe Walsh on The Conners tv show last season so I guess he's branching out? I dunno, I still ❤ Joe Walsh so 🤷🏿. I'd hate to think they all need a check so badly after bringing so much joy into the world with their music.🎶 Oh, well, I guess I'll just sit n watch and listen from this side of the TV screen. 📺
I mean, it’s hard to convince me. I know this was your best angle and maybe if we had a better footage of Don, Deacon, Vince, Timothy and Joe harmonizing, you would have added it. But Joe seems to be singing In The City perfectly and harmonizing nicely. Don on the other hand is harmonizing too late and his lip sync seems pretty suspicious. The part where he says “‘Cause I’m…” was able to convince me that he messed it up and “Desperado” sounds eerily similar to the 2005 performance from the Long Run Tour. Of course I ain’t doubting that they are using layers and layers of autotune and pre-recorded stuff, because it’s safe to say: Don Henley’s voice today isn’t the same from 1976 Maybe I’m just saying this because I have never listened to Eagles songs that aren’t Hotel California, Take It Easy, Desperado and Tequila Sunrise, so I might listen to other songs and hopefully, I will convince myself that this js just pure lip syncing. Around 4 minutes, he starts singing before the track. He’s about 2 notes ahead. Man, this wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t the eagles. I saw them in 1979 for the hotel California tour. It was great. They were an absolutely incredible band. This is sad

Have seen the Eagles live many times over the years. Henley needs to end it. Doesn’t need the money or fame. Voice is gone. Call it a career and enjoy the fruits of your labors.
when the standing room ticket for Eagles sells for 3-400 bucks you should at least be told some audio may be prerecorded so you have the OPTION whether or not to spend so much money for a live performance or not. The Eagles are a legendary band, loved them and grew up on their music, but I'm just so sick and tired of fakery and phuckery (sorry). 😕
I like the Eagles music, but I think they are probably greedy assholes... they block everyone's videos and and copyright claim ad Revenue from anyone uses even 15 seconds of their songs. Clearly they can't sing anymore because they're old farts that should just retire to the old folks home. But no they are greedy assholes that just want to make more and more money. I've seen them twice since they regrouped in the early 1990s, the last time after Glenn died and Don and Joe had some backing vocal tracks for sure. The first time was basically original lineup and the second time had Vince and Deacon filling in for Don Felder and Glenn Frey. But they were BOTH AMAZING SHOWS. There is obviously some vocal support going on here, but you try singing like Don Henley for 2 hours and see what it does to your voice. The challenge with their music is that some of these songs simply cannot be re-keyed lower without destroying the guitar parts. I key Hotel California from Bm down to Gm to sing it, but it always makes the guitar parts at the end sound not quite right. I'm pretty sure they down tuned all of the stringed instruments to Eb for a period and that was a fix for a few years. But you've got to make a choice - either you're there to be idolized as a legacy performer or you are there to serve these magical songs and share them with new audiences. These guys have always been music first and performed to a high standard and I can respect that.

I doubt the little people ever win. I prefer nowadays, new bands where you're in a small venue up close enjoying live music. Perhaps some of these bands will make it to the top. As they get old maybe they'll do the same thing. Here in Europe we've got plenty of our own stars. Thanks to Fil we've seen the truth about many musicians

Since The lip-synching was only recently exposed, it certainly isn’t dead; The issue has just begun, Especially for those tickets paying concertgoers who want their money back after feeling cheated and defrauded. Is that what the ticket literature says, “live cinema?“ I highly doubt it. I don’t think lip-synching Qualifies as AI, as it has been going on since the beginning of television at least. Somewhat more understandable and obvious with TV shows, but for massive audiences paying collectively millions of dollars for concerts? Absolutely scandalous and shameful. That’s why Madonna got sued, among other things. That’s why at least one state in the union has moved to make it illegal to lip-synch without disclosing ahead of time that you will or might be doing it.
The Eagles should have called it quits after the "Hell Freezes Over" tour in 1996. Nobody's singing voice lasts forever, especially when they're doing dozens of concerts in a year. People are paying good money to hear you sing LIVE. Lip-syncing is cheating, plain and simple. Glenn Frey died 8 years ago, Henley kicked Don Felder out of the band, Henley and Frey kicked Randy Meisner out of the band because he couldn't hit the high notes on "Take It to the Limit" anymore, Deacon Frey took over for his dad but now he's left the band, and Bernie Leadon left the Eagles for the SECOND time. When you lose more than half of your original members, you're not the same band anymore. Their current "residency" at The Sphere in Las Vegas is a naked, ruthless cash-grab. Henley should be ashamed of himself.
I heard Don Henley playing on the Howard Stern show Desperado. This was years ago, and he was in the key of F. Here, he is in the key of G, which for those who may not be aware, is a higher pitch. If he couldn't sing it then, there's no way he should be able to sing it now.

I've always felt the Eagles pushing Don Henley so far to the front was their undoing. He's a great talent but Glenn was better and Don's need to be the favorite is seemingly catching up to him. This isn't to say I don't love Don Henley. I just think his part was too big. Too bad he's the only OG left :(
I've been a singer & musician since the 80's (working with many legends) & insisted on ALWAYS singing Live even when it wasn't in my best interest on TV shows that had inadequate sound equipment for Live shows. That was often the case decades ago on "American Bandstand", "Soul Train" & others back then. I was offered ALOT of $$ to lip sync at a major casino ongoing show....NOT bcuz I couldn't sing....but bcuz the OTHER singers couldn't! I declined the generous offer...but very few singers have the integrity to turn down $$ to fake it! The 1st lip synching concert controversy happened in 1973 with JAN & DEAN who were huge sounding like the BEACH BOYS in the 1960's. In 1966 Jan was crushed in a car accident resulting in brain damage & partial paralysis. In 1973 they got caught lip synching in concert due to his permanent injuries. They recovered from the controversy & sang for REAL for many yrs after tho. The 80's brought us MILLI VANILLI which I'd been suspicious of from the start. It wasn't THEIR fault tho...but the corrupt music producers who made them sing OTHER singers' vocals. More recently we had KISS...Gene & Paul who so loudly criticized OTHER bands for performing past their prime & most ironically...lip synching! Paul Stanley damaged his vocal cords & surgery didn’t go well. Rather than being like AEROSMITH with Steven Tyler being honest that he could NO longer sing due to fracturing his larynx (vocal box) last year & will never perform again....Paul Stanley got caught countless times on the never ending "End of the Road" Farewell tour. Robert Plant didn't reunite with LED ZEPPELIN after 2007's 1x concert bcuz he lost his voice decades ago due to vocal cord damage in the early 70's that got worse over the yrs following his vocal cord surgery mid 70's. The public is sympathetic of their idols as long as their NOT lied to & ripped off! It's clear from these closeup videos here of the EAGLES & their high security of NO video that Don Henley is doing a Paul Stanley now! It's highly dishonest & a ripoff to the fans paying $500 to $1,000's a seat to watch cheap Karaoke! I applaud Steven Tyler for being honest & maintaining AEROSMITH's legacy by choosing NOT to do what we see here.
I think the comparison is perfect in terms of Performers being caught lip-synching in front of live audiences. Faking it is faking it regardless what you did previously.

Who cares? As you get older, your voice gets weaker. He may have felt he wasn’t giving a good enough performance for his audience so he decided to do that. Some day you’ll get older and not as good at things and I hope you catch as much grief as you have given him. Go get a little cheese with your whine. They have created songs that got me through some rough times. One day all of them will be gone and I’ll cry like a baby.
Have you read the comments? Lots of people care, particularly the ticket paying fans who feel cheated and are screaming for class action lawsuits! It’s fake, fraud, no different than Milli Vanilli. It doesn’t matter how good they were in the past you don’t get to cheat in the future or present.

But I will defend Daughtry and say at least Daughtry only lip sync the scream and won’t get fooled again as to every single song and all harmonies he sings. If you were to total it up lip syncs currently .005 of the set and Don Henley lip syncs 95-100%
