Thanks for posting this! Just rented this unit, and it cane with no instructions. Vermeer does not distribute operator manuals unless you own the unit.
There might be a black plastic box right by the controls - that's usually where the operators manual is at. If not - if you have any issues, feel free to email me and I can reply back - it's my first and last names, no spaces or punctuation, at gmail
I actually try to get my loops to not lay directly on top of each other, rather I try to stagger them a bit, to decrease the odds of getting the fiber crossed up.
Neat makes it easier to tuck and tangle. The fiber is formed to the reel over time and needs come off by itself. I've seen plenty meatheads use cones and twist and force the cable into a "neat" looking 8 and running circles sweating their assets off for no reason. I just stand there and hand over hand it and let it figure 8 itself just like the machine is doing in this video ez peezy
@@curtkopacek6859 bad luck is you get hit by a bus I will say I finally did get with my local dealer and they where able to help. But as always they don't have the part and it will be three days if not longer. Now let's talk hydraulic pump motor and why you can purchase it alone no you have to buy the whole assembly. Now tank level senor that only lasted 3 weeks
Dustin Harris - yes it is, but it doesn’t matter. If you use the figure 8 fork that comes with the trailer, you will pick the fiber up cleanly every time with no snags. I should have showed that process as well.
Oh it can be done without a machine, for sure. But we can figure 8 fiber at 700’ per minute with 2 guys and one machine. If you do it often enough the machine pays for itself. Plus this trailer will blow fiber, take up overhead wire, etc.
