I’ve always been told to lift and have been told to recommend to my customers to lift only in single clutch, because of the stress on the clutch going bad in 20k miles, in both Ferrari and Maserati. Clutch jobs are cake for me to do, but I do have customers that are always showing concern about the wear. Our 40 year master tech said to always drive in manual mode and lift in between shifts quickly to prolong clutch life.
I think you're not supposed to lift off. The control module handles that perfectly. If you lift off, the car would shift more slowly and wears out the clutch sooner.
Sorry... but when you park it for some time, NEVER pull the hand brake. The actuator and the cables can dry, and break. Better get wheel chocks. Use the hand-break for short stops only.
I always have loved the 599's looks that's why I have one. Not many models have earned the GTO badge, there's a reason they picked the 599. The F12 is a monster, really a raw machine that you have to be very careful with.. too much power for a novice driver. The rear of the F12 always bugged me, looks like the car is wearing a thong.😮
Wow this car is gorgeous and I'd love to have it right now!!! Is it still available? Please get back to me ASAP when you get this message! Thanks. Ciao for now Out
