@@JayShoefanatic well the truth is that there's not much choices I can get or I would've liked smthg darker, but there's just 2 choices the quai 54 which is on sale on a good price and the grey cement just those 2 n I really like to get an air jordan 3 so the review was great n it seems like the shoe has some quality material I don't know if it's versatile n it could be worn with whatever u thrown at it or I'll regret buying it
I agree these are "loud" but that's why I still love these. I just embrace the loud, ghost green tongue has a ghost green lace, and I bought hot pink laces for the hot pink tongue. A way to subdue the look is just wear a black top, like a black hoodie with a white jumpman, simple jeans, and let the shoes go wild. And I'm the same as you, made in the 80s, but a 90s kid. The colors and patterns on these just make me happy so I embrace it lol
Bringing the vids back from the past. Yeah these are definitely a unique colorway all these years later. When you tie them in with the grapes and bel-air, I think it makes a nice set!
At first I agreed with you being against the shattered backboard nickname. But if you really think about the details of this shoe with patience and openness, it makes sense. The first detail, the silver glitter tag on the inside of the tongue, it looks like broken glass shards sparkling in the air as it falls. Same with the reflective silver splatter shark teeth, broken glass reference. And the unusual material on the side/upper, it represents the guaze/-bandages that the opponents would get later from taking shards of glass on their face. Then the obvious Nike exhibition match colorways for that game. It's not on a AJ1 for the purists but it's a fire release when you think about how detailed and fluidly themed these are. Shame the community kinda bagged on it alot. I love it myself.
So many these same boxes needed size sticker info on box. So i can place my 2 pairs of dope af Animal Instinct Jordan 3 1.0's in they proper boxes. Super slept on cause people cant match fits and just arent universally culturally dynamic like i ams! 19:50 I will NEVER wear these particular dub zeros again. I got arrested in them and when I got to jail it seemed like EVERYONE else in there was wearing them at the time of their arrest. It’s like those shoes were cursed or something. I gave mine away while in jail. 😂 great looking shoe but I’ll will NEVER again Ps that was My first and last time getting into major trouble with the law

Im doing a wear test as speak. They feel about the same to me. The Quai 54 feel about more snug on foot, but it could just be as simple as a variation on how tight i made the laces. @@JayShoefanatic Let me clarify Jay , as for an AJ 3 w not one synthetic material (rare, mudguard or tongue on most non OG.s synthetic & even Some collabs) Leather as good as White Cement 3 and compared to Balvin 3 Sunset & A Ma 3 is very close. So when I think of GR AJ 3s as far as undervalued & underrated. I’m thinking back on retro 3s they were shaped like a boot til UNC 3 2020. Then they came with the perfect shape September 22 with the fire red three. So it’s hard for me to call any of those threes with that terrible shape better than that Ivory three . Colorway ✅ 🔥 Shape ✅ 🔥 Materials 🔥 Rare Nike Air/Jumpman Co-branding ✅ 🔥 Only 2nd, AJ3 Or AJ AT ALL ….. I’m aware of like that 2020 Denim 3 CoJp the other. It’s nice touch. So that’s the context of my ‘Ever’ I got 3 pairs for 475 , maybe that’s other reason lol & keeping them all. One for the day, one for the night & one on ice for when the other 2 are no longer right. 💯

Love little pattern on mid panel gives shoe some character, Nike Air on back there was 2 pairs I got the sail black team, orange pair.. Which I preferred to the brown pair . Both cool. I’m in Oriental Carpet Business it kinda resembles a geometric pattern that you might see on a rug.
