Yeah, nice video, but I'd never trust the adhesive layer alone for insulation and go over positive and negative like that, I avoid doing so even with wire insulation which is a bit thicker, let alone a thin layer of adhesive.
Amazing tutorial but I do have a question: how do you change the standard grid canvas with the square one shown on this video? I have never come across this graph paper replica before, thanks for sharing.
linear snap is for when you use the move tool to move an object. if set to 1mm every movement in a certain direction will snap to the next millimeter. if set to 5mm the object will move in 5mm incriments and so on. this is to make it easier to move objects a certain distance without the need to type it in. a good example is if you want to copy a part five times and you want to move each copy 5mm away from the other, jest set snap to 5mm and copy and paste, when the movement arrows come up and you drag it it will automatically snap to a distance of 5mm from the other object.
Why does every sketch operation snap to multiples of 5mm?! How do you configure it to snap to 1mm? When editing an existing sketches edges or points, I'm not getting any snapping at all. Why not? The editing function seems like trash. If you want things in the right place, you have to delete and try again. That can't be right....
