No worries mate! and yeah I thought that myself to be honest cos it hit more or less right as the lure entered the water, I know there is kelp around that spot too but the water was still pretty high compared to when I usually fish there and never have a problem with the kelp on lower water. I'm getting closer! hahah think the season ends over here beginning of november so still have a month to try!
@@NorthumbrianFolkery their def known to hit a lure as soon as it touches down and its usually a violent hit too, same here mate 31st oct is my last day but theyve usually headed to the rivers but not all them do some just skip spawning and feed on threw, im crossin the fingers 4 u buddy 👍👍🎣
@@whitetroutchannel yeah mate it was a big tug for sure, wasnt expecting it too after about 100 casts of not even a touch hahah! And hopefully you can pick a couple more up before it ends, if not this year for me I will be going at them hard next season for sure! hahaha. Gonna have to make a whole film about it!
@@NorthumbrianFolkery they arent called the fish of 1000 casts for no reason mate lol i was out the day mate and all i musterd was a follow but the water was like milk and i think they fish better in the clear water but ive got them in the choppy water too, early in the season can be good mate you can use a lot of pink and white lures when its cold thou white goes good anytime of the year, seatrout special vid mate!! ill be lookin 4ward 2 it!! 👍👍🎣

That's what I was thinking! And cheers mate, just tiddlers but I'm off to the isle of Skye next month for some wild camping and fishing so hoping for a big one! and unlucky on losing the trout mate, very unfortunate!

I’m not really aware of any good spots so tend to just wonder the local areas and look for places I think would be alright, I don’t drive at the minute so been a bit of a chore getting to different places but hopefully soon that will change! nice way breakin the duck mate!! i always found personally speakin low water with the first 2 hrs comin back in and then the hour either side of hightide the best in sea fishin, sept to nov is always the cream of it, im down the beach now LW waitin on the flood, nice vid pal 👍👍🎣

I know man! This was literally like one of his first times fishing so he wasnt too confident! He's got it all down now though so next time he gets something decent he will have no bother landing it! And cheers man, we should head up to here some time, full of rainbow trout and pike and an absolutely wonderful place to spend a day fishing, its way out in the sticks around 40 mins away from home.
go into a tesco or any supermarket and buy a normal packet of mackeral, cut them into stripes about the length of your finger and cut the fat off the meat side of the mackeral, put it on a hook and enjoy 👍
theres some blindin trout jumpin there mate, when there on the open coast that big there usually on sandeel (launce) or herring, maybe a big SG line thru sandeel or westin sandy andy line thru might lift 1 one in that spot 👍👍🎣

@@NorthumbrianFolkery if they dont work mate i guarentee the bass will hammer them and if your lucky enough to see the abu mo coast line thru in holo mack pattern get 1, ive never had a better lure for gettin the big fish interested and they all look monster fish jumpin at your mark mate 👍👍🎣
@@NorthumbrianFolkery there tricky as most days mate but certain days theyll just be on it, try round the new moon phases comin up mate, they seem heavily affected by the moon

@@Markw13 was mad mate never seen nout like it hahah. And yeah! Handy to know there is deffo bass around there, that’s my goal by the end of the year a Northumberland Bass on lures so will deffo be heading back along that way to see if I can make it happen. Heading back along sluice this weekend so might gan back along there too if I get a chance
I’m itching to get out and I’m walking better now so I’m thinking of heading down to seaton sluice ( behind kings arms ) first thing sat morning as it’s high water at 7.05 am .. maybe start an hour before high through to about 10 bells .. either that or Sunday night .. 6.30 - 10 pm ..

Al be about the whole area so will just look for someone fishing hahah! I'l be heading down for about between 6 and half 6ish im getting dropped off and will be there fishing up to when ever.
