I installed it myself, so I don't have an answer as to how much it costs for a professional to install. Usually, dealerships will NOT install an item that's not an OEM product, but i'd call your local Lexus dealership and ask.

I've heard the bazooka (with aftermarket resonated pipes) set up on this car in person , it sounded good too, more raw sounding (probably due to a little bit of rasp towards the top end). This one definitely has a more refined deeper sound (most likely due to ARK using their own secondary cats and I'm sure muffler design). It's not as loud as bazooka setup, but you'll still get noticed coming down the street. (In a good way)

I forgot to get the windshield metered before tinting it, but after putting 70% film, it meters around 54%. This would indicate that the "clear " Acura/Honda windshield has a vlt of around 78%

@@theDrzhivargo that is correct...it may look clear to our eyes, but there is a certain VLT% in the glass (some cars more than others). That's why, some people that want to keep it legal need to put a tint vlt% higher than the state limit. Example if the legal state law is 35% and you put a 35% film, it'll meter much lower (close to 28-30%) thus failing inspection and/or risk of ticket. So in order to keep it 35% legal, tint shops will install a 40%-45% film as it'll meter at or slightly above 35%

The only time i've ever gone 15 is with Formula 1 Pinnacle (Ceramic); but should measure similar to 3Ms Ceramic film. From what I remember I didn't complain about night time driving in the city. When i went out to the country side it did get a bit tougher to see out.

Yes I did. I used the window trim vinyl kit from Bogar Tech Designs. Vehicle pre-cut specific. This was my first time applying Vinyl\wrap on anything. Normally, I would probably have paid someone to do this; but all my local areas were charging $600+ for this [of course using 3M 2080]; figured i'd try ordering a pre-cut kit myself. First it takes time and patience to do this. You will need a heat gun, but careful with the heat. The Front\Rear Doors were easy for me anyway. The rear window was hard, and I actually messed up on one, therefor had to re-order the rear pieces (the store will sell you just one piece for a lot cheaper if you messed up on one trim). Got it right the second time around. So far, 6 months later haven't had any issues; I doubt this is 3M vinyl, so longevity is still questionable. This may be something that's best left for a professional to do, but the pricing in my area was just outrages.

@@StarManProduction I almost purchased the that same Bogar kit from Amazon (I have the same color '24 CRV Hybrid) but changed my mind after some reviews cast doubt on products overall long term durability while emphasizing difficulty of install...also I'll be having the Ceramic Xpel Black 70% tint removed from my windshield soon (replacing it with 3M Crystalline 60) as I wasn't satisfied with the higher VLT inherent from the Xpel Black ceramic 70. While I'm essentially throwing money out the door (cost about $220 for that windshield tint, with $40 labor fee to remove it, not to mention the much higher cost for the 3M Crystalline tint) I need have the CRV's windshield just a little bit darker (but not too dark for night time driving and I think the 3M Crystalline 60 on the windshield will likely measure on in the low 50's VLT-wise overall once installed which is what I'm aiming for). It seems like the stock Honda CRV windshield glass has very little (if any at all?!) tint/color/shade to it, really feels like a fishbowl letting all the light in 🤣

It's part of Mazda AIO Teaks. Google "Mazda AIO Tweaks". If you have a 2019+ or have updated your infotainment to version v59.00.502 there's a way to do it, but it's a lot tricker. The Mazda AIO Tweaks websites has all the information you need regarding this.

While both cameras don't physically connect to each other, the Garmin Drive application actually detects both cameras and will merge the videos together based on the date/timestamp

Crystalline in a 20% has a highly reflective purple/blue hue which I wouldn't have liked for side windows. I'm sure they look great on a luxury car though just not on the supra.

@@StarManProduction I see. I have an appointment Saturday for Crystalline on all windows plus sunroof and windshield for my M340i. I was getting a great price but now you got me second guessing. lol

annoyingly, each time you save a recording, Garmin makes that noise. Because the Garmin speaker is next to its microphone, you get distortion in the video clip. Garmin should definitely move the microphone to the opposite side of the speaker so that we don't get that loud chirping sound.

I had failed inspection with 70% in the past. So far I've had no issues passing with 80%.

QUICK ANSWER: if you want this film then you'd go in saying you want 25%. LONG ANSWER: First: most modern automobiles have some sort of VLT% on the "clear" glass. Second: Metering has a tolerance of +\- 2 or 3% . At inspection shop it meters at 24.9% and at tint shops their meter is at 22%. The number for 3M Ceramic IR series is telling you the percentage AFTER install (a rough estimate anyway). So, if you go into a shop and want this film; then you'd say you want the 3M Ceramic 25 -- which will indeed put you at or close to 25% after install. [if you metered the film by itself, BEFORE install, it'll be closer to 30%] Confusingly, the 3M Crystalline series is telling you the rough percentage of the film itself, BEFORE install. In this example the 3M Crystalline 70 will meters much lower after you install it on a car. This is why it's important [if you are wanting legal tint anyway] to meter out a sample on the glass to before full install. In North Carolina the legal limit is 32%; you can't meter 31.9% or below, otherwise you'd fail inspection. If you get 3M Color Stable 35 it'll meter the window to 29%-32% [high possibility of FAIL INSPECTION] If you get 3M Ceramic IR 35 it'll meter 34%-37% [PASS INSPECTION] Again, the numbers above will vary so it's best to get a sample placed on your window and meter.

@@theDrzhivargo naw, where I live cops don't care; it's the yearly inspections that get you. You use to be able to find an old Ma & Pa inspection station and give them a few bucks to pass. But it's harder to find anyone willing to do so now a days because if they get caught they get a hefty fine from local government and lose their inspection license.

I tried, but each time I did the camera would auto adjust the lighting giving a really inaccurate representation. I think in the future I'll take a picture since I have better exposure control and edit it in the video.

Nah bro. They don’t even need to be same brand. They don’t communicate with each other. But connect to same app. Footage is saved on separate sd cards.

Oh and looking out the 3m crystalline windshield, how would u describe the shade? I heard there’s a bit of blue looking out.

@@SJuan2023 I live in a rural area with little street lights, so 50% Crystalline would have metered closer to 42% and that's too dark and reduces visibility to see deer. On my daily driver I actually have Air Blue 80 as I want maximum night visibility.

@@SJuan2023 that entirely depends on your window and percentage. My mom has a Lexus and 40% crystalline from side windows look brown looking out and her windshield is 70% crystalline and is for the most part clear, but if you hold a sheet of white paper you'll see a little green. BMW glass (so this includes BMW, Supra and MiniCooper) the glass naturally has blue..but I honestly don't see a hue looking from the inside out on 60% crystalline.

@@SJuan2023 to be honest, I still get glare with 60% on the windshield with all these new LED headlights that modern cars have and aimed way too high (doesn't help Supra is low either). I was going for best heat reduction rather than glare issue. The only time I see noticable reduction in glare is going 30% or lower from the rest of the windows. I've seen people post the get glare reduction with 50%, but I just can't see it be the case ...I don't know, maybe my eyes are just too sensitive now a days.

Rear window is also 25%. To my eyes anything under 60% for the front is too dark to see out in rural areas where I drive a bit. Actually stratos 50 on the windshield would have metered in the mid 40% , too dark for me to look out. I do have Stratos 40% on my truck for the side windows (for that car I wanted to stay state legal limit) which meters mid 30s and looks really nice but does have haze to it at certain angles. I like Stratos, but I go for Crystalline for windshield because of it's nice reflective purple/brown/green hue it gives out. A light tinted Stratos will give it a blueish hue. Pinnacle is my favorite tint because it has virtually no haze and it's just a nice charcoal color. I'm getting a new vehicle in the spring and will actually try out Xpel Tint for all windows. I hear good things

@@StarManProduction I went to today to see Xpel I didn’t really like how it look no matter how dark you go they do have that blueish hue and that’s threw me off !!!! In their sample they looks so smoky charcoal but in real life it doesn’t ! Do you think 25% on sides very dark ? I just don’t wanna regretting if I did the 30% and comes light and you can see through?

@@costantineyoussif6679 it depends what color interior you have, how big the windows are. Small windows and black interior will look way darker than it is. If you want dark I'd get 20% for the sides. On a 2 door spots car 30% or below will have a nice shade. People can see your shadow but not make out your face. Cars with more windows or larger windows (like a Mini Cooper or sedan) and/or if you have tan/white interior I'd go with 20%

A family member has a Mazda 3 with 40% , but because Mazda 3 has small windows and has black interior that same 40% looks much lighter in my moms SUV

I have Crystalline 40 on a other car for side windows. Great film but expensive. The issue I have with Crystalline is that the darker tint 40% and under gives out a very noticeable brown or blue hue to it which will not match Factor privacy glass color. The 20% Crystalline has a strong Blue reflection while 40% is more brown
