Light going trough glass is just so much better than everything else. All those plastic tools despite the effects and shapes are no where near the beauty of the light passing the glass!
Greetings from the States. I have been considering Hobolite for several months. Your review helped me to make my decision to get the Creator Kit for the the Iris. Great presentation for the product review! Just subscribed to your channel and I will check out more videos.
Just stumbled across this video. I’m actually in the process of building a “wand” using addressable LED’s, a microcontroller and a 3D printer. I have an image in mind that can be programmed in that is very specific. Subbed to the channel in hopes that I can get some ideas from you for the physical parts of the build. Already have a couple ideas from this video. 😉 Keep up the good work!!
What a great video and such a great night at Phil's. Loved learning the process of taking those amazing images with all that beautiful movement. Can't wait to experiment some more.
Oh, awesome video, Denis, and what a fantastic piece of equipment, although to pricey for my work, but very cool, your work and creations are awesome as well, thank you.
Such a great explanation! My first tool too and always trying to explain why it is so great, so now can just send folks here! Never tried glass, but now I will have too ;)
its awesome how in an artists hands a camera can capture a moment in time in a way that the artists mind can perceive with intention but at that exact same moment our eye can not...share more please.
i own 4 universal connectors...BIG THUMBS UP !! Denis what video software is that you use in the light painting demo that shows the light painting progression ...?
Got to agree with you Den, first tool I bought and used with bottles, plastic and glass, as well as anything I can find that fits in. Got 6 of them now in my kit and all used for DIY or LPB tools with numerous torches. 🙏
Hi mate, you will not regret it. Yeah we had so much gear on that trip. I was shooting tutorials for Olympus. so we had lighting, video gear etc. Thank for coming by.
Very informative Dennis. You seem to know the art so well with so many fantastic pieces you've done. Awesome work simply outstanding 👏 👌. I'll never forget the workshop you ran down at pt Adelaide harts mill a few years back. Got some of the most amazing images done of my silver zj Ford fairlane. You definitely opened my eyes to something I never even knew existed 😎 cheers jezz
Well said Denis, I am just starting with light painting and a universal connector was my first purchase. Jason has made some great tools that enables lots of very creative people!
Beautiful inspiration. That reminds me of the time with my friends 2012 when we had fun with sparklers and camera. Now I find there is a name for it. 😂 Thank you 🙏🏼 Peace 🕊️ with love from Italy 💞
God dam mate being a dip shit is fine and we have all been there (some of us are still there) but by the gods you look like your a happy one, and it's Conagious! keep making these they are Awesome, from a Dip Shit Pom, hehe
Haha. Thanks mate. Look self deprecating behaviour can be odd at times. But I just want people to know that you can be uneducated, have mental health challenges, numbers look like spaghetti, and still manage to have a go. More fun coming.
Thanks Paul, if you’d suggested 20 years ago that I’d be attached to a cut in half tennis ball bought at the $2 store, I’d piss myself. Glad you enjoyed it mate.
Haha. Thanks mate. Look, the point I’m making, and I look forward to sharing this story soon, is that I left school super early and always struggled to learn. So I want to try and encourage others who struggle to learn stuff to have a go. I had a clinical diagnosis for adhd last year. It made me realise so many things.
I've recently stepped into the amazing world of Light Painting. Thanks to your no nonsense tutorials on basic light pens, I've started making my own tools! I'm still sh*t at soldering but it works with enough hot glue and wooshing noises ahah! I've always loved your first ball of light and would love to learn how to make my own!
@@SCHOOLOFLIGHT can't wait! And also can't wait to see your work in Scotland. That's where I am. In fact, that's how I first found you because I'm staying just outside Largs in Scotland and saw one of your video with "Largs South" in the title. Didn't realise there was another Largs so far away from me!
