Hello we are James and Ellie and we are from the UK. Welcome to our channel formerly known as Jellie Views. Myself and Ellie both met each other in college where we both studied travel and tourism back in 2009. We got married in Mauritius in 2018 and we have both been inseparable ever since! We are both like a jigsaw and we can quite happily say either of us are not complete without the other!
We decided to start our RU-vid channel just before the pandemic started to bite around the world as we thought wed love to capture our memories as well as make informative honest videos about different resorts and hotels to help other travellers decide what might be right for them when booking their next trip abroad. We haven't looked back since and we have so much fun bringing our videos to life for you.

Arhhhhh glad you did as much as you could ❤ Such a buggar that you had to deal with the one thing we all have to go along with and cannot control……..the weather⛈️💦🌦️☀️🌈☔️🌥️ China town looked great fun 🤩 the vegan food looked lovely 😊 Amazing views of the light show ❤❤❤ We are off to Corfu on Sunday, literally booked a last minute deal last Friday ⭐️⭐️
Hi there, I am travelling there soon for my honeymoon - loved your tour! Did you bring much cash with you? Would you say a lot is necessary or is card payment ok there? Thank you!
😅nothing worse getting wet on a water ride then raining all day. The vegan food looked really nice actually and the light show at the garden is in my bucket list thanks for sharing.
It’s the wet feet which is the worst! Ohh the vegan chinese was really good so glad we ate there :) you should definitely tick Singapore off if you can it’s a lovely country 🥰
Glad you both enjoyed your first day. It's so tiring after a long travel day but you feel like you have to plough on so you can fit everything in. I couldn't help but giggle at the name of the place behind you at 16.19!!🤣 🤣 Hilarious. I wonder what kind of 'pub' that was 😮
It’s definitely worth plough through the tiredness, wouldn’t be able to live with our selves if we didn’t 😆 Ohhh Lucy your attention to detail is just spot on 🤣 had to go back and have a look to see what it’s called. Why the heck did we not notice that pun when we were there 🤣🤣🤣 *googling it now* 🤣
We did our first cruise this year after saying it wasn't for us. Just 4 nights on Ventura to Amsterdam. It was amazing and we won't be doing anything else now. We have Iona booked for March 2025 and I am already really excited. Loved the video, I am even more excited now - Thanks 😀
Ahh it’s great to hear you loved your first cruise too like we did :) Iona is lovely ship I hope you enjoy your time onboard as much as we did :) we’re sailing on Arvia in Feb around the Caribbean can’t wait to get back cruising again :) thank you so much for watching we appreciate it ☺️
Just catching up on the vlogs after our travels- amazing rooms and so much useful info. Thanks for the mention and looking forward to the rest of the vlogs
Ellie you and ya sister had all the rare shiny pokermon things. Love the pet food stuff too. Love this vlog. Amazing guys. Love the seaweed stuff too xxx
hi there. did you notice (or remember from a year ago) whether there were any doors for interconnecting rooms in the junior suite? also did you notice many familes or is this place mainly for couples?
Hey, we dont remember seeing interconnecting doors on the rooms for them room types. Ohh yes 100% definitely for families, the Westin is great for families and kids 🙂. Thanks for watching 💙
I'm going on this next year what app is it to check your balance and does it need Internet to work? I don't have the drinks package so not sure how it all works
Hiya, you will need to connect to the ships wifi to access your account (there will be instructions on how to do this when you board) but you don’t need to purchase the wifi package for this or I think you can view your account on the tv in your cabin. We didn’t have the drinks package either so anything you purchase onboard will be added to your on board account. I hope this helps :)
Fab video guys! Been waiting excitedly for your tour of this resort! Really helpful and think one we will definitely look at for Bali next year, so thank you, saves me trawling through hotels online! 😂
Hey 👋🏻 you’ll be surprised it wasn’t actually the top room we had for 2 nights before we decided to downgrade was only £155 a night and the other superior villa cost £131 per night 😎, yeah man the mosquitos are killer! But they do sell some really good mosquito spray very cheap 👌🏼. Thanks so much for watching 💙
I love the video! Recognise my profile picture? I’ve been to Bali with my family 16 times and every time we stay here. We call it our second home! We’re going back at the end of the year. 😝
Ohhh 😮 yeah we recognise your pic at the Westin 😜, it’s so nice in Bali we only had 3 nights at this resort and it wasn’t enough. We love Bali, I think this hotel is the best around Nusa Dua too 😎.
If you keep cruising you can make little tags for your ducks that send people to your vlog site! The origin of duck hiding is unknown but often credited to a young girl named Abby in 2018 who went viral from hiding little ducks on a cruise.
Hey Kezza 😬😎 thank you so much for your support can’t wait to share the vlogs with you and what we got up to soon, don’t miss our hotel tour from Ubud next week and the two awesome rooms we had 🤩 as we won’t be showing these in our vlogs and they’re stunning 😍. Thankyou 💙💙💙
I live near olden and go to school there! We see cruise ships almost everyday and we love to wave to them when they pass us. And yes briksdalen is very beautiful have been there a lot of times and tbh it’s not that steep for a Norwegian 😅
We absolutely loved Olden definitely one of the most beautiful places we have ever been to 🤩 we live in a part of the U.K. which is quite flat so we’re not used to steeper walks but absolutely loved it and glad we made the walk to see the glacier 🤩
Hiya, the food was really good. We made sure we stuck to restaurants and cafes rather than eating street food to ensure we didn’t get sick! We also made sure the food was prepared using bottled water. I hope that helps and you enjoy Bali, we loved it :)
Hey guys, lovely to see you again 😊 looking forward to seeing your new vlog series. Nice resort, the breakfast looked epic! Really nice pool area and beach too x
Awww thanks for coming back to watch our next series Lucy really appreciate your support 🥰 the hotel was so lovely and was so good to relax after such a non stop busy time in Singapore :)
We were on that cruise (May 4th 2024) and it was our first. We were in stitches watching this as you both said all the things we said as first time cruisers. We went up to the glacier and it was awsome. We have rebooked for the first week in May 2025. Travelling down from Essex so might stay over the night before this time. Right, off to watch part 2.
@@BRICKSTRIDENT Nice! You obviously enjoyed the cruise to rebook again, we’ve booked to do Carribean cruise for Feb on Arvia cannot wait 😬. The glacier was a real bucket list item to tick off the hike was fun too to get there. Big up Essex 🙌🏼 we’re from Essex too 😜. Thanks so much for watching enjoy part 2 💙😎
Hi thanks for the information its really helpful also got exactly the same room as you in block 3 floor 5 how mad is that Thanks again keep up the good information guys
love your travel vlogs. Be carful going to townships the UK government actually advices against visiting them for safety. If something was to happen to you at a township your insurance wouldn't cover you. It not the place for tourist's.
@@oliviaann5535 hey Olivia 👋🏻 thanks so much for your kind comment 🥰. Ohhh blimey don’t say that I’m glad we know this now. I didn’t realise it can invalidate our insurance. We’re back in South Africa in December and we are definitely not going near a township or doing a tour ❌ the one we did was a tad scary 😰. Thank you so much for watching our content it means a lot 💙
Hi I am looking to book this cruise next year with my twin daughters who will be 15. Do you know if there is an age restriction for the silent disco? Also how much was your tour to the glacier. Love you video very helpful. Thanks guys Kirsty
Hiya, no age restriction as far as we are aware we see young children at the silent disco having the times of their lives :) We paid around £69 per person but you can do this cheaper with olden adventures. I hope this helps :) thanks so mum for watching :)
Only just recently came across this channel (a week ago) and I’ve already watched all of your LA trip, Mauritius Trip, Safari Trip and now this! Keeping me entertained and happy and making me want to travel (only been abroad once) both of you are super wholesome and a great watch! Definitely worth the subscription 😊
Hey Rizzle Kicks 👋🏻 thank you so much your comments made our week 😎💙. Glad to hear your enjoying all our content on our channel. We’ll have a new series up soon (around Octoberish want to make most of summer lol) we just came back from Singapore and Bali ☀️. Thank you so much for joining our community 💙
Hi James & Ellie, really enjoying your videos, fun & very helpful. Planning to book Iona in Sept and have a Q 1) Do you have to take your passport with you every time you disembark at port/excursion? Many thanks 🚢
Thank you so much for watching :) We didn’t have to take our passport off the ship with us for any of the ports we stopped at however the crew will advise (on the day) and also in the daily horizon mag you get in your cabin if you are required to take your passport with you. I hope you have a great time :)
@@JamesandElliesAdventures fab, that's really useful to know. I did have another Q but it's gone out of my head for now! Thank you so much and, yes we will 🙏 Many thanks again
