These Germans high officials were only obeying orders. They were doing their jobs just like doing your work. If you think that they are quilty then you should put yourself in their position. They were taught by the facts giving by Nazism. Ask yourself a question why do you kill pigs and slaughter them for foods instead slaughter dogs as foods in Asia, like the Chinese and Koreans!

What gets me is the bulldozer at the end. Even though the liberators presumably wanted to treat the dead bodies with some dignity, just the sheer of volume of bodies made it impossible in practical terms. I have been reading and studying about this for 20 years and I still can't believe people actually did this. People sat around planning this, orchestrated the logistics, experimented with the best chemicals, competed with each other to lean into this the most and had cigars and cognac at Wansee when they got other people to go along with them with these plans. Just insane

The comment about Wallenberg using unconventional methods is true but funny because Eichmann, on record, used that as his excuse for threatening to have Wallenberg offed lol. He was thwarting Eichmann at his own game. And I will say yes Wallenberg seems to have met Eichmann multiple times, certainly at that famous, though often dismissed, dinner (many witnesses were have said the same thing). A couple others have mentioned being with Wallenberg when they ran into or were meeting with Eichmann elsewhere. But a lot of it was actually paid for by Americans I believe, which was part of the Soviet suspicion. His meeting with Germans and Hungarians (often off book - it would have been extremely surprising and bizarre for there to be official records of most of these meetings) also contributed to this paranoia, unfortunately.
