You don't see a lot of round bodied fiddles going around. They used to make them round like that in the mountains (or at least that's what I've heard).
Old-time music is all about the rhythm -- and you two nalied it! Ususlaly simple chords -- and kinda corny meody IF PLAYED SLOWLY. (I play it myself.) So you play it fast in perfect hythm like this!
Love your music so much. Thank you. I was the one at Orcas Island clapping for the soundcheck. Sorry about that! You guys are proficient at whatever instrument you pick up. Appreciate all the music. Hope you all have fun in Austrailia. Hope you can make Wintergrass!
Truly great to see you're back! Nadine, if Fred was your grandfather, he was my Uncle! Of the 13 siblings of Fred's, my father Lionel and his brother Ben lived in North Western Ontario! If you ever drive West, you have to drive by, so it would be great to make Contact!
