Instead of customized attribute points, force us to pick from the preset build styles each level. That would balance the gameplay online where we would have different play styles besides just one meta. Very boring to watch if I'm honest.
If your curious on ideas on what type of builds you wanna create. I suggest watching a RU-vidr called Markitrov whose known for making alot of builds that are anti meta and pretty good. His novak build is insane btw.
Thanks! Yeah, I’ve seen a couple of his vids. Good stuff. I’m just scared of making an anti meta build atm because they’ll probably change it soon so I don’t want to get stuck with something that doesn’t play well. I’ll probably wait until after the next patch to make a build that’s goes against the meta. Unless the meta is fun lol
Anybody else notice how his serve is easily controlled? Am i missing something here? Y is he able to control it so easily? And his target circle is much smaller than i typically see. Reason for this???
Can you also do a tutorial on how you serve, what type of serve you do, maybe talk about where best to use each shot. I noticed flat shots are not to be used on the sides of the court, they always go to the net, but I’d love to learn more on how to use proper finishers according to the situation.
If you are new to the game, why do they make you play people that are 50x better than you. I cannot get a win, nor can I cancel the game beforehand. I'm stuck with getting thrashed.
Watching this is disgusting. This isnt tennis. Even virtual tennis was more realistic than this. Im 450 at the moment and i enjoy beating these type players without using expoits
I’ve switched it up since this vid, but in this vid, I have 86 and 87 fh/bh, 95 power, 82 speed 80 reflexes I believe. New build vid hopefully soon. Thanks!
Yeah! It takes a little bit of practice. Just try to move the serve cursor at the same time as when you begin your serving motion. Then eventually you’ll get the hang of it. If you’re on controller, using the buttons to serve may be easier than using the right stick when you start out.
Good fight but its a dead end game the way they've allowed to to be played. Who wants to watch a bunch of people all doing just forehand backhand power speed over and over with all the individuality of stormtroopers might as well go do algebra lol, unwatchable game
“Individuality of stormtroopers” 😂. Hahaha, very true. I really hope they make some changes to the game, then we will see some more differing play styles.
@@MoreAyReef Yeah wish they'd speed up the playing surfaces so other play styles like serve and volley etc become viable like they used to be in actual tennis pre 2005 lol
@@divinecomedy7311 I wish playing surfaces actually made a difference.I understand serve and volley not working too well on clay, but it should definitely be a good play style for grass
@@MoreAyReef sorry, didn't mean to sound like a dick but they are extremely useful against power players like this and your self. I only have 70 power and beat a lot of power players through wearing their stamina down and using their power against them with control shots. Mixing up net play really helps too to confuse people, I personally hate the "power meta" and try and go against doing it. I make so many power players rage quit after one set when their getting beat by someone with only 70 power lol
@@dylandelaporte7073 Haha, you're good. Yeah, I really should mix it up a bit more. I've just been waiting for them to balance out the game, then I figured I would change my play style based on how the game is. But, it's looking like they won't change it up anytime soon. Thanks though. Winning with 70 power is impressive
Lol, just cause it's pretty much a guaranteed way to win points in this game. People do it in real life but not at the frequency done by people in this game since you're usually hitting to your opponents forehand. And in this game people aren't just wide serving, but they're slicing it wide which makes the returner reach out so far off the end of the court that it is tough to come back from.
Nice video. Wonder how you are able to move the serve aiming spot before starting the serve motion. Is that a skill you acquired? If I move my L before starting to serve it moves my player, not the aiming.
Is there algorithm scam in game? After winning first Set, perfekt Timing balls weak, and Stammbaum of opponent is empty, but running a Power no Problem. Account scam with algorithms.
For builds I would personally just experiment with all types of combos to see what’s best Even if u don’t like the play style I would still recommend you play with it to get a understanding of how the style works and to just better advance your iq of tennis But this game is like topspin 4 If I had to guess your playing style your more of a baseline player type so a defense type build would seem good for you Topspin master ( which adds insane rpm on the ball which will push people back ) Poised slice which makes your slices a lot lower And maybe solid defense Idk how the build system works but that might be a very good combo for you Great match thouuuuu ❤️
i played a lot and very good top spin 4.. i wish that next game would be less "bugeable" but no.. this 2025 its exactly the same.. also with 30 points on serve it must be TRASH but they are hitting aces... they are doing non stop 1-2 with 30 points on serve... what a disappointment..
@@close7 oh, increasing serve points definitely increases the chance of aces. It’s just that 30 serve is too good of a baseline and so the marginal benefit of increasing serve is not really worth it in the current stage of the game.
Im not as good as you, but i think a good way to return is buying time to get in position and never give the cross court option, you can buy time just starting one or two steps back and mix between slice and top spin. mixing up the shots to try to screw their timing can work sometimes too...
Thanks, yeah these are good ideas. Only issue is that if I take steps back while my opponent is doing wide serves, I have more ground to cover now which may be tough to recover from. I do need to switch it up sometimes though.
If anyone is nostalgic for topspin4, may consider chacking out my yt channel. I ve been playing it recently and I ve just uploaded couple of matches today. I wonder if serve-volley player on that new topspin are any better than on topspin4 (?). Here are so easy to read and to beat as well
For the lefty sadly , lefties r extremely good in tennis due to the fact 80-90 % of tennis players r right handed , the same patterns u use u can’t really use against lefties cause it favors them . When he pulled up out wide on the deuce side there’s not much u can do , if u hit it across it sets down the line combo or he can lock u in place on the backhand to hit down the line. If u hit to his backhand it leaves you wide open for cross So aiming deep in the middle is your best option but u probably will need to slice those serves a lot more to by your self more time to reset in the baseline as much as possible . With his playing style it was just a war of nutrition on which side gives up first . After the 1set u can see it got 2 you / drained u which is why u performed worse vice versa the other guy had all the confidence. U still tend to go into the baseline to try and hit the serve u can do that from time to time to do the sabr basically, but overall u never ever ever want to do that .in irl tennis u do that u will 9/10 loose the point because of the ball speed and bad court position. In theory I get what your trying to do , your hoping to take the ball on the rise with a well time shot and reduce the speed and give him less time to react but in reality your hurting yourself more by doing that . Ik the meta is just be baseline players but tennis has so much variety to it volleys really should be implemented into your game even if u loose the points 9/10 times u need to improve on that , learning when to come forward based on your court position or if your gonna be in a advantage position. For example if your making someone half to lunge really far and u know it can’t get back deep or that strong that’s a really good time to come forward , it also is just good to do at times cause it forces the person to panic / quick think which will aid in free points. Idk if u can do this either but u can also try doing a drop shot on a serve which will probably catch people off guard but idk if the game can actually let you do that 😂. Overall your definitely vastly improving you would destroy the earlier version of yourself like you where a noob Great effort in the first set ❤️
