One of our country’s most highly respected Reform congregations, Temple Beth El makes Jewish tradition vibrant and meaningful for the lives we live today. From a small group of committed pioneers who formed the Boca Raton Hebrew Congregation in 1967, Temple Beth El of Boca Raton has grown to be the largest and most vibrant congregation in our area. Throughout our history we have sought to create a spirit of warmth, intimacy and vitality in all that we are and do, welcoming all people who wish to pursue a meaningful Jewish life. We believe strongly in making a difference in each member’s life, in the larger community, in Israel, and in our world. Visit us at www.tbeboca.org
With gratitude, I thank you from the deepest place in my heart that I may share our sacred service . I live alone in Uruguay. This video brought tears of joy overflowing my eyes with Love for memories of my childhood ~ services in San Diego, California. I send blessings of Health, Happiness, and Peace to all.
Why do our sanctuaries only fill-up upon the occurrence of a tragedy, or only for the holy days? Why are we unable to transmit clearly and concisely Judaean teachings (not as a religion); as well, the beauty, richness of Hebrew?
It makes me so sad that we still have to have decades-old 101 conversations like this in Reform Jewish community rather than much more timely and important conversations like, "how do we create belonging in our communities so that queer Jews have a spiritual home" especially in a synagogue community that is 99% cishet straight married people who don't have single friends or queer friends in their orbit to teach them.
Shalom Yarusalayim🙏 Don’t you worry Israel 🇮🇱 God Almighty is your Shield 🛡️ your Protector Your Savior and you will be saved from your enemies. Your war is not yours belongs to the Lord for He fights for you🙏🕊️✝️💞
❤ I so identified with this sermon! I remember, what seems like a million years ago, when you assigned a book to read before the high holidays (the reader maybe?) which I also thought was brilliant. L' Shana Tova
