The Women in Law Initiative connects female* legal professionals (and their male* allies) from all around the globe, organizes international conferences, and presents the annual Justitia Awards.
This program is a great way to honour these women in law! I am very grateful that I could get the chance to listen to their achievements in legal profession. It inspires many female law students!
As a young, female law student of the University of Vienna I think that this initiative is very important and highlights the great achievments of women who made it in the law field. Especially RA Carmen Thornton is a true rule model for me and I´ve been following her Instagram account for more than one year now, but of course I would like to congratulate every outstanding woman on their award. Furthermore I´d be very interested in some backround information about the founding of the justita awards, how many applicants there are round about every year and the reasons why your sponsors and partners support particularly the Justita Awards ceremony.
Congratulations to all the nominees for your brilliant accomplishments. Special congratulations to Professor J. Jarpa Dawuni for her excellent service and dedication to women and gender equality.
