9:07 if i remember right the west coast flyers design was based on the steemlined Hudsons which were popular in the United States as they were one of the new york centrals best locomotives.
There is so much crap to good ratio. But people collect what they want to collect around here and don't seem to care if there aren't any Treasure Hunts.
So There is a new promotion with target, on the receipt the cars don't ring up individually they come up as 13 individuals and a single 5 pack, Do I need to rip off all 3 cars off the single or can I just send 1
@@poguman69 I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but if you bought for example 13 carded cars and a 5 pack. You could send in the UPC code for the 5 pack along with however many cards it takes to get to 20 dollars pretax. Around here it would be 16 for normally priced cars so you would do the 5 pack up plus 11 cards. Feel free to email me if it's more complicated. You might also try to give Mattel customer service a call (works much better than email)
@@ModernDiecast I called the Mattel line while watching your video, lol they told me I should be fine it’s kind of fucked up that they don’t send you the packs back since I carefully extracted the cars from the single packs and they were some good ones too, this has been my first time doing a promotion so hopefully I can send in my envelope tomorrow I already made the order
@@poguman69 yeah, I always hated that part of it too. I usually just keep the ones that my kids open or if I open any for review or display. I've kinda hit that phase where I don't keep many mainlines carded though, so that makes it a little bit easier. Hope you enjoy the car, looks like a good one 👍
When I discovered the adventure force little cardboard bin for $.98 a pop as soon realized all the real ones were gone and all the castings were fantasies, and I got a grand national beautiful casting granted there is no interior with a proper wheel swap you in the game for the cheap and I basically go for cars to customize ❤ would love to see more adventure force in the game and not a price increase😅😊
@@oscarvargas1491 for sure. They are a little limited on variety, but they do have some really good cars. If memory serves me correctly a few castings like some of their broncos actually look better than Hot Wheels and Matchbox.
@@ryanyoung7494 it definitely can be, especially depending on your are l area. I'm pretty fortunate around here and I'm usually able to pick up multiple of most of them in a year.
@@Jumboツ you probably picked up the mainline. The super looks very similar but it will have shinier paint and different wheels with rubber tires. Check this video out, it covers super treasure hunts at around the 9: 17 mark 👍 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RXCJ8z8G4zo.htmlsi=2O_qOCri8VsYp5bg
its possibly is i mean theres also a debate on hotwheels on that porsche set where theres a one porsche that are sepose to be part of the set but it only came one whilst other is like 3 or 4 which spark a debate if its a chase or not and id imagine something similar happen like i guess the box or the car is manufactured lesser than others that they become a unintentional chase or something and become rare lol
@@artgokrew I think the consensus is (at least at this point) that Majorette doesn't have chases in the US. For the Porsche set, it is generally accepted that the 914 is a chase and so far the silver series sets with 6 cars all have a chase. Would be much simpler if they used the same format across the board.
@@GratedCheese8989 I think they have a decent run ahead of them. they are still around so far and it seems like more people are realizing they are a thing. They all seem to bring a small bit of premium on the resell market. Probably helps that they scatter in some licensed/pop culture themes. I don't really see why they would stop making them anytime soon unless they decide to completely revamp or stop the monster truck line, which doesn't appear to be in the near future. Truthfully, it wouldn't surprise me to see them add other chases to the monster truck line similar to what they do with premiums.
@@GratedCheese8989 yeah, the monster trucks seem to sell very well. Most of the kids I know would take monster trucks over regular hot wheels any day of the week.
@@Carsnedits246 I'm usually more a fan of a stock looking nsx (boring for Hot Wheels, I know 😂) but I do think this is one of the better ones they've done 👍
@@Carsnedits246 it's all good. I don't get to put much time into the channel, so I don't expect spectacular results. Just enjoy sharing stuff that people might not get to see and chat with other people that enjoy it 👍
Found the Evolution yesterday in a bin that had actually been out for a few hours. Another collector showed up and he found another super in the bin next to me. So we both scored, but weird thing was there was not a single regular treasure hunt in all three bins??? Nice finds! Little guys have their eyes peeled to find their first super. Happy hunting
@@theadventuresofwyattjack5205 that's awesome! No treasure hunts in cases seems to be a more common thing these days. Not sure what's up with that. Only other explanation is maybe someone that only half knows what they are doing picked them up 🤷 either way, nice score and best of luck to you and your little fellas.
@@202One if you can find ones with cars you want then it absolutely could work better.. that's probably what I'll do to finish up my family dollar mail in
@@joshuakurth938 this one was near the clearance section which is also by their garden section. Nowhere near the hot wheels really. Also heard of these being set up near automotive in some stores.
seems like its a combo of hotwheels super and treasure concept, where hw has a th and a normal car and a sth to replace the normal, majorette has a "1 per case" and a "chase" that replaces it. but yea nothing to confirm it.
@@FUBuddy yeah, from what I've seen the standard American releases don't have chases so far, but it's not like Majorettes website is super helpful or anything 😂
I like to collect for fun only. I am 64 years old and just starting . My idea of collecting these is I am just going to buy 5 cars every 2 weeks. This is a fun hobby. I am not going to worry about treasure hunt and supers. But will buy one if I see it once in a while.have fun with the hobby and not go hog wild.
@@chuckswain8299 Honestly, if you can keep it that way, it's for the best lol. Quality over quantity and buying what you like instead of what's hot will definitely lead to better enjoyment of your collection...... And save your wallet...... Usually 😁
