Correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the impression you are not to touch or turn the base while it is electrically charged or you will get shocked but you are coating and turning the base at the same time.
Reno That is a cool flag. I don't have a c&c only a hand held. I was looking for tips on cutting free hand letters out and came up on your channel. I'm making a end of the world sing to donate to sand mountain out side Fallon Nv. I would like to win your flag to add on to my sing. Or I may use your idea . No way will it come out as good as yours. I subscribed to your channel. Some day I hope to have a c&c plasma cutter. I have a Rottweiler named Reno he is a bad ass and a cool dog 🤠 J>-W-> Old Hangtown ca. ps how do you sing up to win that flag??
Hi thanks for such an awesome demo on power coating rims I have a question I see u heated the rims before you coated what temperature did u heat the rims and did let them cool down before u coated Thanks
awesome work, how much you charge for a sign like the A B auto repair? and whats rough cost on materials and how much time you have in it? just curious thanks.
I know this is on powder coating and I liked the way you explain everything. The thing is, the way you did the blue on the flag. We watch videos to learn and that is what this video is all about. Thank you for giving us your time
I noticed in the vid you have a different gun. is That a Sames Kremlin? Did you upgrade or prefer over the kool koat you had in your older vids? Thanks
@@2024_rebranding Nice! I’m a new sub and new to powder coating. I’m going with the Kool Koat 3.0. I don’t have a big shop I think it will be a good gun for me. Great channel btw.
Thank you. Yes the 3.0 is a great gun. But when you get into spraying powder all day everyday you will want a high end set up and use the 3.9 as back up
i stumbled across your vid it was on my feed so thought id get a look at your process im in the same business i been doing this stuff now about 23 years and i sure enjoy being creative especially doing one off customs for others . i also do the tattered flags only i use the candy color paints i havent tried doing the powder coat process yet i need to build me a bigger oven but i sure like the results of how the clear makes it pop . i take it your using hot roll beings you sand blast it first then working it with a grinder i use cold roll the clean it with acetone then grind it smooth with 60 grit flap then i mask n paint and use three coats of clear and works really well anyways keep up the great work thanks Bill
Hi, I saw in one of your vidoes your oven in your house shop. Looks like you had an exaust pipe on the top. Looks to be vented outside? Does this help when cooking powders or gassing parts off ? So your shop down not fill up with smoke. Thanks
I didn’t have it vented out side. And no my a shop didn’t fill with smoke. It puts of some smoke but it’s not bad. But by the rule books you should vent out side
Looks great. Bu it is a "tattered" flag. Not a "tethered" flag. One means ripped, torn or beat up. Tethered means tide down, or attached to something. That old flag is tattered after tears of blowing in the wind.... vs. that horse is tethered to a fence.
