To work for an entity that doesn't do enough to hold criminals to account.. no thank you, you couldn't pay me enough. I have seen some fairly petty criminals get nailed to the wall while others that are some of the worst of the worst get the most special treatment and privileges above and beyond any law abiding citizen would ever get.. no way, no how, never.
the missouri DOC is the most corrupt agency in missouri. it's a horrible place to work. female staff sleeps with inmates, there';s nothing but abusive inexperienced supervisors and staff brings drugs and cell phones in to the inmates for extra money and favors. i would not advise going down this career path.
HOW 2 REPORT DRUG DEALERS,& ACTIVE DRUG ADDICTS,& SEX TRAFFICKING PIMPS,& DRUG TRAFFICKING PIMPS,&GUN TRAFFICKING PIMPS IN (** OXFORD HOUSES,& SOBER LIVING HOUSES @,& HILLJACK HOUSES,& LIVE SOBER LIVING HOUSES IN STL.MO.USA & ILLINOIS... When did they. Change thir uniforms, when i was there it was more professional looking, lt blue dress shirts, black slacks. And when I advanced I had a white shirt.
Nope. You don’t even need a high school diploma. Pathetic. When you get to prison you get a tablet with a job app on it. When you open the app you can browse different places in Missouri and there were a bunch of listings for modoc.
A "stigma"!!! Ms. After giving almost 13 years of dedication of service to MODOC. Belive me when I say. The public has no idea of what evil I've seen offenders can do to one another or towards staff. You and people like you sit up in your offices up in admin. While I was in the trenches. This commercial may have some people fooled. But the not the custody staff I had the honor to work with.
I was first a CO after working several years after I took a college class I put in for sergeant. This was all at the Missouri State prison ( the walls) I knew it was the good old boys I was competing against after several interviews at several different prisons I it almost give up and I had one more interview for sergeant at the walls that was the time I made sergeant, but the first couple months I worked as a CO
I don't mind to say that I was terrified, then I saw the inmate took my kindness for weakness I had made up my mind this isn't working being nice so I went to the Sergeant's desk picked up a stack of conduct violations and everything they did that they weren't supposed to do that evening I rolled them up this went on for about 3 days and they got my point. I enjoyed my job I made a lot of amazing Friends officers and inmates

Incredibly powerful, factual and evidence-based. Spreading the message portrayed in the video in Jails and prisons will reduce number of inmates attempting self injurious behaviors and for the facilities to save millions of dollars if a lawsuit follows a suicide Anasseril E. You know what... You really did a really good job today!!! ... Reading your Que Cards!!! What a JOKE!!!! BAH HAHA!!! I've never known for a single PO in Missouri to take and kind of time and effort into trying to HELP someone!!! This is such a load of Crap!!! I was going to college to be a PO. Thankfully, I was able to see what that hell hole is TRULY all about and divert my that route before wasting any more time. No one could EVER pay me enough to be a part of that mess! It's terrible! They're all lazy, judgmental, hateful and quick to throw people behind bars. It's disgusting! The Missouri Department of Probation and Parole is one of the worst departments of all! They have no regard for human life and have no faith or belief that people are capable of changing for the better. PATHETIC!!!!
I beg to differ to. I have talked to COs and Ex cons. You are making this seem like a dream job when it's not. It's a dangerous job and the DOC apparently does not care about that sitting behind the desks in Jeff City
My name is LeAndra Clements; I just recently graduated from the Fulton CSC for women Treatment Center. This place is so helpful and caring there's not one staff member whether it be a PO, a higher level official, or the CTO staff that I don't respect greatly and appreciate more than I can manage to explain. When I arrived at the Fulton CSC for women Treatment Center I was in denial I was manipulative and a liar who didn't give one bit of care for anyone including my self. I was stuck on hating God for my entire life of pain hurt and let downs. But by the time I graduated I become this new honest and caring person who holds God close to me, I read my Bible several times a day and was so committed to walking in the truth with God I got baptized in a trash can in the shower room at the CSC. This place is my life saver. I could never thank this center enough for how much they have helped me.
