I'm a long time Philadelphia Phillies fan , as well as my grandfather whom I remember listening to many games with my grandfather who passed away at a blessed 100 years old. Many fine memories at Connie Mack Stadium with Dick Allen being one of my favorite players, would love our Fighting Phil's to get the chip this year.
Reports are saying Ranger is fine and likely won't miss more than his next game. For his sake and the team's, that's a huge relief. Great job by the bull pen to step up and hold 'em to 1 run. Team's still looking sharp after the little skid out west and we're still running this league.
I know they call the Yankees America's team but,I have to say philly now and back then are more of a exciting team they have great players and are super fun to watch go Phillies 2024!!!!!!
Phillies should have challenged that play at the plate, dude's hand didn't touch home and he was tagged... eh, maybe not enough on review to overturn, but I think he was out.
Bohm and Stott are magnets for making defensive plays. I’m surprised Ashburn Alley didn’t collapse after the moonshot from Edmundo Sosa yesterday. Glad to know it’s okay.
The main reason the phillies have the best record in baseball is they have only played 2, that's TWO, teams with a current record of over .500 all season!!!!!! Atlanta, to which they lost 2 of 3 and san diego (who were 14-14 when philly played them, so really only 1 team that had a winning record !!!!!). See what they do when they play any good teams. If they played in the AL east they would be one of the bottom two teams.😂😂😂😂😂
Spencer Turnbull keeps giving Dave Dombrowski headaches because he's too damn good to not be in the starting rotation, but Dombrowski signed Taijuan Walker to that damn contract and he's supposed to honor it no matter how many games Walker blows.
😂😂😂😂 play some winning teams. 1-2 against Atlanta. San Diego, irrelevant, 3-0 against them, but when they played Padres were 14-14. That's all the teams they have played all season over .500😂😂😂😂😂
Which team do you support that has a better record than the Phillies? Oh, that’s right, there’s not a single team in MLB with a better record. So that means whatever team you support must suck even worse.
braves fan here our team is the best team in baseball but that’s not the case rn due to a load of injuries but im glad we are in second place rn bc when it comes to postseason yall will finally fall
Extremely overrated, yes, suck no. They haven't played any teams with a winning record except ATL to who they lost 2 of 3. "Ooooo they swept the Padres, aren't they a winning team?" Yes, barely, but when they played SD was 14-14. Philly may have the best record, but far from best team. Buckle up for a big letdown Phanatics, reality bout to come knockin.
@@williamsmith1451 - right now the -Braves- Cowards suck. They are losing to teams with bad records more often than the Phillies have. And as I recall your Cowards lost to the Phillies in the playoffs the last two seasons. We’re looking forward to making that three seasons in a row, assuming your Cowards can get a wild card spot …
but if u recall the phillies were the wild card spot and the braves had the best record in baseball and what happened when postseason came the braves lost all their magic, that’s the phillies situation this year and the braves haven’t gotten hot yet with being over 500, i’d be worried about the postseason philly fans, yall might have the best record but the winniest team never finishes the job
