I don't understand? Was this little gathering on the same time the real ninove freddy files show was going on? Or was this on a different date? Very confusing 🙈
@@sebsworld01 Seb, keep up the great content and say hello to your Dad! What a good friend to accompany you to Europe. I got the love for VWs from my father. He taught me everything I know and I'll be forever thankful. ✌
Loved my old 60. That was 40 odd years ago. The turn signal switch didn’t work. One of the previous owners had installed a toggle on the dash with positions: (C) off, (R) right turn, (L) left turn. It was a West Texas car, no rust but sand blasted on the passenger side to the sheet metal. The prevailing wind blew from the North and that side faced the wind. 😂
Glad to see you really using and enjoying a car that others would only bring out on Sundays! A trip in an old car is a real "journey" and you will never forget your experiences.I did many long trips in Europe in my old C2 Corvettes and now tin the USA with my '71 Ghia. Enjoy yourself and have a safe drive!
@@sebsworld01 Yeah, drag racers have the same mindset. The front tires do most of the braking and all of the steering. If they break loose...expect bodywork, or worse.
VERY nice one dude. I imported collector cars from the US into France. Mostly drove Porsche and old Mustangs round. Took a BMW AC Schnitzer to Nurburgring, but closed due to snow. Started my car life with EVERY kind of early VWs and naturally transitioned to Porsches.
Lived near Paris for almost two decades importing collector cars from the US. Nothing more stressful than driving ANY old, collector car around Paris center and you can FORGET parking.
Great to see the Beetle being pushed a bit more than most would push one. Thanks for showing the new beetle displays too. I have one and it was interesting to see 👍
That’s awesome if I had a split window I would never sell it. Probably would be buried in it 😂 can’t a lot of people say they have drove a split window around a race track 🤙🏾
Great video. It's good to see your enjoyment of ALL VWs. Don't ever let the dark side of the scene get to you - and start hating on certain VWs. They're all good, all fun!
I gotta 63 beetle i didnt chip all the undercoating off, good job!!! Not fun, it would stay better if vw didnt put undercoating over gloss but the paint protects the metal. so it works out in the long run. I noticed Deans long hair. Be careful of grinders and other rotating devices. I ran a grinder up my hair and sliced a rut in my head. Ouch the bloody mess reminded me. Nice beetle.
Have you ever stalled an 1835 dual carb engine with your head? Dean has. Hence the bald spots and me sounding drunk. It has nothing to do with the beer that I'm drinking. And don't forget that the camera adds 10 pounds. I'm really not that fat in real life. lol. ok. maybe i is.
Amazing, I just picked up a 1960 myself. My bumpers are different than yours and was told mines was all original so I’m curious now if they were replaced.
Looks mint, sounds great I want one. And despite what @doginu says about you being in the way, your lines were respectful of the faster cars in corners and straights I thought. Wouldn’t that indicate you’re drivers knowledge.❤
That was the sketchiest part of the whole day. There’s a slight dip into the apex and the swing axle suspension didn’t agree with it at that speed. The rest of the stance on the car definitely doesn’t help but made it quite interesting there. The car is not super confidence inspiring over 125 😂
