What is screwing me up is the #5 wire, shouldn't it go to something separate that closes the holding contact? I think I just figured it out lol. Ok so when the coil is energized it closes not only L1 L2 L3, but also the holding contact?
The way he explained it the wiring in the video for the high voltage is wrong then you should probably relay that to everyone so they don't get confused other than that really good video

I'm a residential electrician which is nothing compared to this and slowly I started accepting my truth at class that PLC requires more brain than what I have but you're videos are giving me hope, you're way of explaining is making sense to me finally, TY! 2 months away from graduating

I have a small motor like this but its not wired this way where the windings have a long jump line. The two windings are connected together but kept separate by the brush and armature. I think its way less confusing to be wired that way since the way its wired on the diagram is the way its wired irl. Whereas in the vid that jumper wire can cause some confusion.
