I won the local store tournament in Brantford, ON with the 2nd highest score in Ontario on the genesis, and went to those finals at the hall of fame in Toronto with an auto advance to the semi final round. I practiced NBA Jam for weeks, but it was never my game, I sucked at it honestly lol...so I got beat out in my first match by that very kid in your picture who went on to win the genesis side of the tournament lol. But it was all good. Got some merch and some free games for it. And at 14 years old, I got to see the Hall of Fame too.
