One of the most acclaimed comedy series of all time, All in the Family with Archie Bunker as the irascible, highly opinionated, working-class family man who viewed the world on his terms and his terms only. When not arguing with his liberal son-in-law, "Meathead," Archie took refuge in his long-suffering wife, Edith, who tries her best to understand Archie's conservative ways and outdated beliefs.

The fact is that Archie married an Angel 😇. Edith was the best thing that could have possibly happened to him. She was always so loving, caring, dedicated, and loyal; a true life partner that put up with all his shenanigans and nasty humor. There is karma to be paid when one makes an Angel cry.
Wouldn't be hilarious 😂😆 if Edith going through the change of life & on the very same day she gets into an 😣 argument with Fred Sanford!!--UH OH!! OH GOD!! HAHAHA 🤣😂!!
I don't understand the video title, but this is one of my all-time favorite TV episodes. If you've lived with a woman going through "mental pause" as my mom calls it in hindsight, you know that the portrayal here is as accurate as it is hilarious.
Carroll was such an actor, his timing, his delivery, his perfect facial expressions. I actually laugh out load. And Jean . Her character was so funny and lovable. I just love Edith.
Since some people are writing comments about how Jean Stapleton should have won an Emmy for this episode, she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series in 1971, 1972, and 1978, and she was nominated for the same in 1973, 1974, 1975, 1977, and 1979.
👍 since Archie appeared in these shorts. So many so-called God fearing Patriots respond, "he's a true American Patriot & good ✝️". Well, dummies will be dummies.
1 of my fave sitcoms...EVER! I hate that ppl say this show & many others could never be made today. That's what's wrong today! Everybody's views should still be represented...even if majority don't feel that way. Equality should go both ways.
So much yelling and propaganda. No wonder I never cared much for this show. Probably one of the reasons why I got rid of my TV over 5 years ago. And I feel much better for doing so. ✌
I grew up to this show and love every clip I see on this channel. Would be great to see full episodes but still I remember watching with my grandma and grandpa everytime it was on tv. Wow I’m showing my age lol. ❤❤❤
Our family once had a German Shepherd named "Maude." Only time she ever paid attention to her name was when the theme song played. Quite the character!
It’s been years but I never forgot the ending of “For he’s a jolly good fellow,” as the character is laughing through the tears - and he is. It’s been a million years since I saw this episode but that part still sits with me. This one, and when Mike comes to get Ma out of the kitchen after what happens to Beverly LaSalle. Lots of tears. This show was worth them.
Jean Stapleton' s finest performance! She was fabulous!! She was brilliant as Edith Bunker!!! Then Norman Lear & Ryan seacrest attempting to all in the family on stage.....no one could replace the original cast!
