Welcome to Bob Marriott's Fly Fishing Channel! Bob Marriott started with a small fly shop over 30 years ago, where coffee and oreo's were the biggest attraction. Things have changed a little since then. That small shop has evolved to a 7,000 square foot fly fishers 'toy store', with a full service Fly Fishing Travel Center, Fly Fishing Education Center, and so much more.
it's way too bulky and that fly could be tied using three times less materials. casting that mop would be a mess. i'd use bob popovic's technique to make it more sparse as in ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-d5z1JgyPBjc.htmlsi=X9n4YcmdAgdAOftp&t=100
This video is gold! Thanks for sharing some local fishing spots. Didn't know the beaches in Newport were good spots. Gunna wake up early and give it a try.
*Love the quality and finish of this reel>>>**allabout.wiki/fhii** I paired it with a vintage rod of my grandfather's. The anodized green on the reel happened to match the anodized metal on the rod. Looks great and works great!*
Very nice. I was at the coast yesterday night and speckeled trout were feeding heavily on Shad I made a white shad pattern out of white craft fur and some flashbow and they were taking it left and right every cast almost instantly but was looking for the perfect form if fly this looks good
The first camera angle from the front was easier to see what you were doing. The rear angle is a good fly tier's view was too far away to really see the fly. All the best, Sean
This is really a great idea. I live in Maine so I don't think I will necessarily be participating but I always watch your video's. Hope you get back to tying video's. All the best, Sean
Nice to see a woman tyer on You Tube! Nice ring too! :) I'm a female tyer as well from western Canada and I'm always looking for new patterns to try. I'll give this nymph a try, thanks for the video!
