Tried one, I didn’t like it. The action was sloppy and I couldn’t get the spyderflip to work on it. I’m a fan of their PM2 knockoff with the axis lock though.
He is lying. With the speed he build up his collection as the beginner - he should spend some time to find out about best material, best brands, popular knives, collect some money and specially remember all the names and blade and handle material of all of his knives. Also it's takes a lot of time to make reviews for most of his knives- like he said. But it's good & expensive knife collection.
Comment....Just picked one up 11-8-23 (in white) for the special buy price of $848 and I had a 10% off coupon from my HD credit card insert. I got really lucky because online it said the store only had one in Black for $1095 and when the store employee and I when to go find it up on the top shelf .....guess what was sitting next to the black one.....A white one, both were in the box and on a pallet 20 feet in the air on the top shelf. So I was like.....no way.! She entered the SKU# of the white one and said yep it's only $849 and I said sold! For some reason the white one was "she said something like off season" it didn't make since but I bought and that is the end of the story. The white is nice and very good looking, Also, this set up is the Heavy Duty version, so the steel is thicker than Standard Duty boxes. I would say even if you can find one for $1095 or I have seen it as high as $1156, it's not a bad deal considering it is the Heavy Duty version (thicker Steel), 56 inches long, it has 10 drawers, 1" thick wood top that can slide forward for clamping thing to the top, a peg board, 2 cabinets and a shelf, soft close drawers and a 5yr warranty verses the 3yr on the Standard boxes. This box is nearly 500lbs, comes with the casters on it but you will want to tight the bolts on the casters a little more and grease the wheels, I found this out from having to take all the drawer out, take the top off, to make it way lighter so I could set it on end in order to slide it into our multi purpose/office room. While it was on its end, I greased the wheels and had to straiten one of the static wheels (it was just tightened on a little crooked) and when I did that, that is when I checked all the bolts on all the wheels and they were not as tight and they should have been. It's a great workbench/toolbox, if you can find one or order one I highly recommend it. If you need to slid it around like I had to, those furniture disks make sliding heavy things like this on carpet a breeze.
Just got my first Kubey, the Avenger in titainium. Where do I get the thumbstud you installed on it? Thats like the only complaint about that knife, it should have had a thumbstud. Other than that, its gold!
They have a g722 which is kinda like the large version of that 726m, but its still smaller than the g720 and it’s a frame lock instead. So overall, the g720 it’s the sturdiest Ganzo folder so far
Nice eBay find. Elementum doesn’t have a D-shaped pivot. When you take it apart to clean it next time look at the show side scale and underside of the edge the C of the pivot. The scale has detent/bump and under the pivot edge there will be a notch that matches to it. I believe my Civivi Odium is like that too.
Love my 395 V2. Wish I had the black hardware version though. Just picked up a Artisan cutlery small Arion over the weekend. Has kind of a Spiro and 395 vibe IMO.
the rat 1 is larger than the ganzo m and the ganzo s is larger than the rat 2 putting them right in between the two - NOT A FUCKING CLONE - I agree though its a better version of the Rats.
I have both the miguron and the zt and out of box the miguron is better but with a set of ceramic skiff or taco bearings the zt is better. Zt's factory steel bearings are junk
Just wanted to tell you that the ganzo fh41 comes in a small size and has the best action of all the ganzo range you really need to try it out as you mentioned that you really liked the larger ones action . Try it you won't regret it
The civivi odium is only Blade Length 2.65 Inches, this is blade length of 3.66 inch. I always enjoy a knife length over 3 inchs. Thanks for shareing. Well worth it.
Two Sun, in my opinion, makes the most underpriced and impressive knives out there. I recently picked up a TS177 and the action, build quality, and materials are in par with knives 3X the price. I have a couple $400 knives I'd trade ANY DAY for a Two Sun with the same materials.
