Well let me just tell you, that this process does not work for me, I have read the instructions on just how to do this, and I have tried more than once. One of my pumps will not pump oil, and the other pump wont stop pumping oil. I did this process exactly how you just did it and for some reason the machine is not picking up what I'm putting down. So maybe, just maybe, you guys should put a switch on the actual pump for the amount of oil that comes out.
Although the video is already somewhat old, I hope to get an answer, I see that the container of the salt used in this video is different from the original flavacol container, I wonder if the taste is exactly the same or is there any difference beyond the container aesthetics ?
flavacol is available in 2 types, the original with the atomic-orange dye in it that comes in the orange carton, and the dye-free type that comes in the yellow carton. the taste is exactly the same. some people are allergic to food dyes so gold medal started producing the dye-free version about 15 years ago.
@@marzsit9833 No, the version of flavacol you are talking about that does not have artificial colors is called flavacol premier, I have used it, it is a good product, the only thing I do not like about this version is that the texture of the salt is not as fine as that of the original version and therefore it is more difficult for the salt to add to the corn, but the reason why this premier version exists is not only due to allergies, but because the premier version is widely marketed in Europe, since in that region the use of artificial colors such as yellow 5 or yellow 6 that has the original version of flavacol are prohibited since they are carcinogenic, but the version of flavacol that appears in this video is not the flavacol premier, they look similar because it is in a yellow carton, but it is not the same, this is a version called Flavacol Pretzel&Popcorn, it is not available on amazon, but on another page called Nepretzel.com, I would like to know if it has the same flavor as the original version. There is another version of Flavacol called Flavacol Better Buttery and it comes in a green container, I have used it too, it has almost the same flavor as the original flavacol with the difference that the better buttery is slightly sweetened, since among its ingredients it has sweetener
What are you using for oil? If you use butter, would you ad it right away or wait to ad just before the buzzer sounds.. I have the Mark 10…. So would I use 2 sticks of butter?
