The end credits video was so powerful. I remember almost all of the people and events pictured(yes, I'm that old.) And it was a good representation of the chaos of the past 55 years and the threats that hung over our heads. But through it all, hope never dies. And love is stronger than fear and hate!
This hits different now that the US President is a little less than a king. Trump must never hold office or else this might become more prophetic than any of us are comfortable with. Biden may be old, but I'm at least confident in saying that he will more competent/less likely to be corrupt staff. The world's on fire right now, he'll only fan the flames.
Seeing Olof Palme in the credit sequence hurt my heart as a Swede. He might’ve been the last great prime minister we’ve had. Truly his murder was a crime as our entire nation.

The children (the singer's irl children) were previously servants to the Clergy. Probably they were killed so that they could still serve Papa Nihil after he died. As for the shadow looking like a pope. Um, yeah? All the singers of the band are popes.
i have the same guess but theyre (or atleast were they would now be 15) Children of Tobias and they're boy and girl named Morris and Milou also other reason would be that they are so old now that they chose to use old video of them and make them ghosts cause we they couldnt shoot new one
These credits really soured the movie for me. I get that the lyrics to the song are tied in but like, Timothy McVeigh, the Sharon Tate murderers, they do not DESERVE screen time on anything, their memories should be cast into the flames of obscurity. A lot of people were getting pissed in the theater too. Though I know a lot of people were like around my age, so like, we knew what these scenes were, we knew the photos from Vietnam, the scenes of Gaddafi getting lynched, Saddam, etc, etc. It wasn't funny or edgy. Loved the movie, went to see it twice, but man, those credits.
It was to show the atrocities that humans are capable of and still doing. I understand your anger at seeing Charles Manson because I always sincerely recoil in disgust whenever I see him on television or in a documentary. I’m an elder who has lived in Los Angeles my entire life and lived through the panic and horrors of those times…I understand you.
they weren't doing it to be funny or edgy. shots of those people were used as examples to express and highlight the atrocities human beings are capable of if we keep going down the path we're on right now. and that ties into the central theme of the movie, which is to embrace what's happening right here, right now instead of being afraid of others along with the past and the future. sometimes one needs to use shocking imagery to get that point across, especially now where so much modern media is so diluted and sterilized to be safe and digestible
Kim Jong-un, Trump, Putin... Why are they pictured together in clip show full of serial killers etc.? LOL! What a cliché for the leftists to always portray those 3 together. Why not Xi Jingping instead? That would have made far more sense. Hard to take it seriously when they take the most peaceful president of USA in decades and lump him in with this crowd. The TDS is getting old.
I must admit I love it too . I’m just on my way to see it again meaning the cinemas in town have got it on for a second week . I’ll have been 3 times but why not with a monthly cinema pass I can’t think of anything better than watching Ghost for a few hours and get my moneys worth this month !
@@ellabella6099 (my other channel) You're so luck to get another opportunity to see this in cinemas. I've got a 'limitless' pass but still had to pay £15 when I went. I'd gladly pay that again but there are no extra showings where I live unfortunately. EDIT: I've just checked and it's on Saturday and Sunday ..... looks like I'm making another trip to Ghost town...

People who go to the cinema regularly should know nowadays you never leave when the credits start ! Too many films give away something after the credits 😉
If people didn't feel that their kids should see the credits part, they may have left early for that reason, especially if they saw the credits already and knew the images were way heavier than any scene in the main part of the movie. I saw the movie 5 glorious times, and most everyone stayed, even during the first opening night screening. Did see some folks with kiddos leave during credits, though. Understandably.
Oh, I see. Then it was sad. But maybe they read about the end credits before the cliffhanger scene and saw the movie again. 🤞 You're such a nice Ghost fan having that empathy for someone who may have missed something fun. 😊 By the end, boy does Cardi "have ghosts" there! 😂
