Oh Thank God.... Every other fan arrangement of this (except the PC-98 demake) felt frustratingly underwhelming or just not nearly right enough. The solo even fits pretty solidly.
* a hollow paleness fills the room * A chill courses the air. * ASGORE stands before you and the absolute * the end draws nearer and nearer. * you are filled with . . . * DETERMINATION. The beginning really encapsulates the essence of whatever boss fight this is in; a ruined kingdom, a vengeful person, or a distraught and traumatized king. Thanks to DDD for making me go out and find this song ^_^
I grew up with S.S.H's covers of Fighting of the Spirit and to now know there was an entire ARMY of Touhou remixes I coulda tapped into years ago has changed me
Not quite, It's from an album called "Trojan Green Asteroid" composed by ZUN; the creator (and composer!) of the Touhou games. This, like literally terrabytes of other songs, is a cover/remaster of his work. (If you're interested, I think TV Tropes still has the link for the multi-terrabyte archive of all the Touhou remixes going back 20 years)
