Awesome message Pastor Green! Thank you. You forgot to mention another form of Jesus that He is not that is currently being fed to the culture, "woke Jesus". The new age Jesus being fed to people through a horrific TV add campaign called "HeGetUs". This fake Jesus add campaign is manipulating how people should veiw and understand who Jesus is. Not as the righteous vindicator of Holy justice that He is, but as a soft, lovey dovy, all embracing, woke, in tune with the culture urban hipster. This affects how everyone sees Jesus. It's not just the lost people that are being lied to about who Jesus really is, but it also effects true believers on how they should view Jesus. How they should think, act, react, and interact with the culture around them and how they should view Jesus Himself. Telling everyone to just unite, don't be divisive, embrace everyone, show "love" by washing the feet of a "transgender", which doesn't exist. There is no such thing as a "transgender". When a "trans-confused" person dies, Jesus will not meet them at the gate of heaven and wash their feet and then welcome them in. He will say to them "depart, I don't know you, you who practiced lawlessness". If we as Christians truly want to show love to someone, we will not embrace their willing, on going, sinful lifestyle, as portrayed in this ad, we would love them enough to wash their feet and tell them the truth. That they will spend eternity in the torment of hell if they refuse to forsake their sinful lifestyle. That's the message that any true Christian ad would be trying to get across. Not fake love for a fake Jesus. That is simply pure evil deception.
On a subject with the word bread in it and you say "your hunger will rise up". Haha! I love the pun. Great message though BTW, really, awesome! I love Jesus and learning about Him and His never-ending awe and wonder for us who are being saved, to never stop discovering, for all of eternity.
I love this series! Thank you Pastor Carey. The Church is in desperate need to know and love the real Jesus. Not this soft, all embracing, all accepting, shampoo model idol that the woke Jesus culture has invented. I wonder, though, how many of them will get it? I guess it's like the old saying, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink." That's why Jesus said, or rather commanded us "seek and you shall find". It's only the ones seeking Him that will get it. I pray for seekers to seek Him earnestly.
